  Great location. Unfortunately this is the only good thing I can say about this hotel. We stayed for 3 nights, the AC was having “major issues” as the staff person told us when we asked why our room wasn’t cooling off. Long story short the AC never worked in our room. We definitely will be returning to Savannah, but we will not be staying at this hotel.

  This place was a great pick! Right in historic downtown, walkable to so many restaurants, shops, squares. The trolley picks you up across the street for the tour of the rest of downtown. You can purchase tickets in the lobby. Our room was very nice and comfortable. The roof top pool has a stunning view! Breakfast by Gail was delicious. When we got there they had water gushing from the ceiling in the lobby. Everyone was very appoligetic and did all they could to get it fixed quickly. The water was off for a while but it wasn't too long. All in all it was a lovely time in Savannah.

  We stayed 2 nights in Nov. The staff were so nice and helpful. It's off to a great stay . The front staff were so pleasant.They acted like they really enjoyed working there! The rooms were wonderful, the bed was comfortable.Everything was very clean. The breakfast was good.The attendant there named miss gail was so hospitable.She got your day off to a good start. She went from table to table asking if we needed anything. We have never had that happen before. It was a pleasant surprise. Upon checkout, miss wanda was a delightful person and made you feel like you were real prized customer. The location was absolutely the best. We would definitely return.

  They have a real management issue here. Location was good room was fine. The Talent was challenging. we needed our car and there were a few people waiting for their cars. Find out the Valets were not around??? We had a medical appt we flew down for. I reported the unacceptable no valet and she rolled her eyes. I told her this was unacceptable and we need to get our car - I told her the other people had been waiting for 20 min for their car. She really couldn’t have cared less. That was the desk manager. Well. The only one at the desk. We are shocked being IHG members. We will find another hotel where the owners and managers actually care.

  My experience at this hotel was nothing short of amazing. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making me feel instantly comfortable. Before my stay, I reached out with a few questions about arranging a special surprise for my husband’s birthday, and the manager went above and beyond to help make everything perfect. She even took the time to assist in capturing the moment, which meant so much and made the experience unforgettable. From check-in to checkout, the entire team exceeded my expectations. Dwight from valet greeted me with kindness and professionalism, Francoise at the front desk was patient and attentive, and Alma and the cook staff truly made breakfast a delight — not only was the food excellent, but their friendly and caring service made the mornings feel special and welcoming. Every staff member I encountered reflected the same level of care and dedication. This hotel truly combines comfort, class, and genuine hospitality. Everyone worked together to make our visit not only special but memorable. I left feeling appreciated and cared for — like I had been staying with family. I highly recommend Holiday Inn Express Savannah- Historic District to anyone looking for an experience that goes above and beyond.
