There's no free parking available. You're forced to pay for valet parking at 50 to 78 bucks a night. I parked on the road to the side of the hotel, some crazy homless guy threw a lighter at me. It was an intense experience as the butane lighter exploded when it hit the ground, lucky for me the deranged homeless guys didn't charge at me or anything afterwards. I parked on the main road as to avoid the crazy homeless guys and someone smashed my driver side mirror. Thanks so much Savanah GA, i don't think I'll go back. Id be much better off visiting Cocoa Beach in Florida.

The location is wonderful. We checked u. The day after Christmas so it was busy. Marie, from The front desk was not very friendly and a bit dismissive. The area to park for registration was packed and created a mess with people trying to come in and trying to leave. There is also a lot of people with dogs here. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. But, we heard the traffic at night and people slamming their doors. Also around 1 am until 5 am there were loud thumping, as if someone was dropping a dumbbell or construction. Upon checkout , I told the fro t desk of the annoying sound that woke me up. The woman didn’t even apologize for the inconvenience and the inability of not getting a sound sleep. I also mentioned that the ice machine wasn’t working on the second floor. All she said was , yes, we know “. So, customer service is not the typical friendly and caring Hilton that I’ve experienced throughout my travels. Breakfast is just okay and valet was $48 and took time to get our car. Maybe the overall experience is the culture of this hotel. In my experience, they fell short on some things. Perhaps if it weren’t the holiday my experience would be different but that should not matter.

The hotel’s location is outstanding—right in the heart of the historic district and just steps from the riverfront, making it easy to explore Savannah’s key attractions. The breakfast options were generous and well‑maintained, and the overall facilities were clean, comfortable, and welcoming. The paid valet parking service was efficient and convenient throughout the stay. A well‑run property in a fantastic location.

I really wanted to enjoy my stay at this hotel, but several issues made it far from comfortable. To start, I found the previous guest’s underwear still hanging on the hook behind the bathroom door—an unsettling sign that the room hadn’t been properly cleaned. The hand soap dispenser in the bathroom was completely empty as well, adding to the feeling that attention to basic housekeeping was lacking.
Only one of the elevators was working during my weekend stay, which caused long waits and inconvenience. Inside the room, the phone was broken, making it impossible to reach the front desk without going downstairs in person. To make matters worse, the room above mine was extremely loud late into the night, making it difficult to get any rest.
The manager did offer compensation—20,000 rewards points, a free night stay at any Hilton resort, and/or $ off on my current stay—which I appreciated. However, given the number and severity of the issues I experienced, it ultimately didn’t feel like a sufficient resolution.
Overall, this property has potential, but significant improvements in cleanliness, maintenance, and noise management are needed. I hope these concerns are addressed so future guests can have a better experience.
