We just left the Embassy Suites in Savannah’s historic district. The building a very beautiful. Unfortunately, our experience was less than desirable. We got charged $88.50 for parking. Be aware that they will charge you and overcharge you for parking!!! I was billed $40 for parking to my Hilton Honors Gold Member AMEX. I was NOT given gold service. I just got off the phone with the hotel and they are refusing to give me the money back for the extra charge. Y the way, the rooms need remodeling. The shower was falling apart, literray. There were pieces of plumbing fixtures broken off in the shower. Would NOT recommend!!! Don’t stay here!!!! Not worth the price.

This hotel has spacious rooms, a great breakfast, good location within walking distance of most restaurants and shopping. What sets this hotel apart is the staff! I reserved a block of rooms for my daughter's wedding, everyone I came into contact with was so friendly and helpful. Ro & Reatha at the front desk were phenomenal, every time I spoke with them they were gracious, kind, and super helpful. The event staff was very attentive and helpful also! Highly recommend staying here, you won't regret it.

This is the nicest Embassy Suites we have stayed at. Very nice, well appointed public areas. Check in was quick and Amanda was very friendly and helpful. In the evening we requested extra coffee and half n half for our room, Lucia went to the kitchen and poured fresh half n half and brought it to our room. Lucia and Amanda made our stay a 5 star stay. They both went above and beyond. Great people! The room was nice and just the right size for a couple. Breakfast was good. Ordering special requests was set up to make it move efficiently. Our orders were brought to us, nice touch. It is a short walk to the first square in this lovey historic area. We will definitely stay here again

One major issues. After checking in, we could NOT get into the garage (even though we paid the tab for parking). My husband was able to drive around the barrier to get in. After, he got his key changed. No apology. On check out we were told to use the key to get out of the parking lot and then there would be a place to drop our room keys. We could NOT get out of the parking lot. Had to press the button for assistance and it took a while for someone to talk w/us. We did get out but there was no place to drop our keys.
The breakfast was very good!
