We just finished our stay at this hotel and what an amazing stay it was. From the spacious comfy rooms to the extra amenities that really made us feel at home, we truly enjoyed our stay. Sharon from housekeeping kept our room immaculate all day and the staff in the restaurant made sure the meal times were efficient. The location of the hotel was so close to everything we needed and we really didn’t need our car.

While check in was smooth. We had a few hiccups!
Our kitchen sink water wasn’t going down & although the service to fix it was fast, it was 1030pm - it was loud and noisy to fix as well as stinky and gross. He was snaking the sink and it was disgusting and the guy who did it didn’t even sanitize the floor or anything after fixing it and my babies were trying to fall asleep in the room
Breakfast was a whole other ordeal that was super unorganized and chaotic. We went down at 845 am, couldn’t find a seat. When we found a seat, the breakfast had no eggs refilled or even plates. We waited in line for 10 mins for plates to be refilled and when it was most of the food was scarce. So I went to get coffee and there was no cups and so I waited another 15 mins for cups to arrive. They have made to order breakfast but again the line up was 20 mins and then another 10-15 mins wait for it to arrive.l - the omelette was good once we got it but breakfast was completed at 10am - most of the time was spent waiting around for plates or cups or actual food & table to sit at.
Then we wanted to do laundry. They don’t give you coins at front desk for laundry; but they told me to go to the bar. I asked the lady at the bar and she lost her mind on me and was like- I’ve had enough of this woman telling people to come here and she went to the front desk staff and told them off.
And then it’s the bartender lady. Rude, attitude and absolutely crazy.
The hotel is beautiful, the lobby is stunning - but this was my experience and it made the experience crappy because of the service and some of the hiccups

We arrived on December 21st and the location , room , parking , check-in ,concierge and cocktail hour was great . The next morning the breakfast was total CHAOS.
The line was out to the lobby for the omelet station and the buffet was totally empty. It was at least a half hour to just get buffet food replenished and 45 minutes for an omelet in which they ran out of many of the add-in ingredients. There was no coffee and when it did arrive it was gone in five minutes so we had to wait two rounds for coffee . When we went back to our room there was a dog that would not stop barking. We were in room 314. The shower was cold and never got hot our whole stay. While the hotel was clean and staff friendly, these situations were not acceptable. We are not complainers but as Silver Hilton members , we should have asked for compensation.

Excellent hotel with high ceilings and very spacious rooms. We stayed in a one-bedroom unit on the fifth floor, and everything was beautiful. The view of the bridge from the window was absolutely stunning.
The location is great, with convenient and easy parking. The only downside is that it’s a bit pricey. The hotel has gorgeous Christmas decorations inside and very polite, professional staff.
The only thing that was disappointing — and unfortunately this seems to be a recurring issue at many Embassy Suites hotels — was the bar staff. I travel a lot, and for some reason the bar experience at Embassy properties often feels unfriendly.
On the first evening (Monday), the fireplace was on and created a wonderful atmosphere. The next day (Tuesday), we had to wait quite a while and repeatedly ask for the fireplace to be turned on, and when it finally was, the fire was very weak. It felt like no one was particularly interested in accommodating guests that day. It seems to depend heavily on the staff on duty.
Very good price!
Aside from that, everything about this hotel was outstanding. This is truly one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at in the United States.

Stayed here for two weeks on a work trip with numerous coworkers. The rooms were solid, sink and mini fridge with a table and couch in a "living room" type of area. a sizeable bathroom with a large walk-in shower and plenty of counter space. the bed was comfortable and there's another TV in the "bedroom"
mid-stay there was a change made to the locks on the doors (assuming it was from that bad tripadvisor review) and everyone had to get new keys, at some point in the process the key machine stopped working right and people were waiting 30+ minutes to get a staff member to let them into their room without giving them a key until it was worked out.
the breakfast is spot on, typical eggs, sausage, bacon, potatos, grits, oatmeal, several fruits, yogurt, avocado toast, cereal, juice and coffee. AND....an actual made to order option, a touchscreen to order customizable omelets, eggs cooked over-easy/medium however you like, and delicious pancakes either plain or with chocolate chips sprinkled on top. breakfast is the highlight of this hotel.
the hotel is obviously very conveniently located near downtown/riverfront with solid food and shopping areas. although there is some sketchy spots nearby, while I was there some lady had acid poured on her less than a mile away.......so don't walk alone.
2 huge downfalls are the food situation outside of breakfast and the parking. the food is grossly overpriced and is mediocre at best. tortellini and shrimp sets you back $30. a burger with cheese and plain bbq sauce is $20, just sad. a chicken salad is a quarter pound of chicken and lettuce.
parking...what a joke, you stay here for 2 weeks costing over a thousand dollars and they want $40 a day to park. I figured out some loopholes but yall suck for that. for those two reasons I don't recommend staying here. the only upsides are soft beds and good breakfast. and thanks to Mariah for being a rockstar.
