Not impressed with this Hilton experience. Definitely was not worth the money. No notification all day saying our room was ready so at 4:00 we went to the hotel since the app would not let us use the key. The associate was not that friendly and proceeded to tell me that the room we chose was no longer available due to maintenance or being taken out of service. Seems like they would have assigned another room to prevent issues at check in. We were notified at 6:15 that our room was ready so I don’t know if that was our original room or another mess up. When we got to our room the lamp didn’t work in the living room, and my towel had something yellow all over it. The best part of the stay was the breakfast, which was very good with many choices. We visit this area frequently but don’t plan to stay here again.
Diamond member here. We paid $160/night for a 6-person room and the room didn’t even have enough pillows & blankets for 6 people.
We went to the front desk at 10pm to ask for additional pillows & blankets and were told they were “doing laundry” and didn’t have any available at the moment. They said they would call my cell phone when the laundry was done but by 11pm, they still hadn’t called. Had to go back down again.
Front desk lady was also working the evening reception, and is also the shuttle driver. I waited 10 mins at an empty front desk to check in because she was busy serving at the evening reception.
Airport shuttle only starts at 9am. So, if you have a flight any earlier, find another hotel. My husband’s flight was at 11am but the lady said “come find me in the hotel around 8:45am-9am since I’ll be working the front desk and other stuff too.”
Trust the reviews you read. Beautiful hotel; management needs help.
FALSE ADVERTISEMENT!! I booked this hotel because I wanted my family to go swimming and get in a jacuzzi hot tub. When I pay this amount of money for 1 day, I expect to receive exactly what I’m booking $180+!!!!. I’ve stayed in hotels for far less money, less stars, where the indoor pool was heated and hot tub was available. The Embassy is listed as a 4-star hotel, no reason the pool should be freezing cold. The Embassy shows a jacuzzi hot tub in their online photos. Yet there is NO JACUZZI HOT TUB! I wish I had searched the reviews deeper, to see others have stated the same thing! The fact that others have stated this, yet the pool is still freezing cold and the online website still advertises a hot tub, lets me know that HILTON DOES NOT CARE! I’m not rich, I’m not wealthy. I saved this money to treat my children to a “nice” experience, during winter break! Yet to be DISAPPOINTED & LET DOWN! This Embassy was the highlight of my families vacation. I spent time and money on pool gear, only to be disappointed, and not go swimming.
It’s evident the issues I’ve experienced will not be taken seriously. As long as I’ve paid for high expectations, yet didn’t receive them, the deed is done, right.
Also, I did not send the hotel information over to corporate, for this pool+hot tub issue, hopefully corporate is being honest on their end- stating “they contacted the Embassy”. But really, that does ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, TO REMEDY THIS AWFUL EXPERIENCE!! I deserve compensation, for the things I paid for with booking , yet did not receive!
P.S. this is my second experience with a disappointing outcome, this week, with a Hilton hotel that I booked!!
Our Marriott experience was much better, with their indoor pool and an actual jacuzzi hot tub, and the pool was warm, even in the summer time!
Separately- the bartender on 1/2/26, during Evening Reception, is exceptional! Very kind gentleman, such a people person. He was taking care of everyone’s need with attention, kindness, and even gave recommendations!

Room was in center of hallway right next to elevators, so I heard all the traffic, conversations and such! Reasonable room for wheelchair or otherwise handicap accessable, which didn't apply to me.
Breakfast was disappointing due to the major for options being Burnt and overcooked, which I'm quite sure isn't an everyday issue. The room service menu was limited and I had to get my own towels(not a problem for me, but should be included in *room service*).
Room was very dingy and needed a deep clean. Walls were spotty, floor grout was dirty, carpet was stained windows were scummy and bed ruffles were a bit spotty as well.
Self parking fee $10, but why ask for parking fees when you're not on a major highway or high traffic area and not addressed at check-in?!?!
The whole hotel from what I saw was otherwise beautiful and magically decorated for Christmas.
The evening reception went smoothly and the bartender was pleasant and professional. All three elevators worked without issue. The location is on walking distance of plenty of shopping, dining, and even a Walmart.
And this location is Very Dog friendly, so beware if you're opposed of living amongst the animals.

Disappointing Stay — Way Below Embassy Suites Standards
The dirty, sticky elevator floors and a strong sour odor (old gym shoes + funk) were the first red flag—and unfortunately, sticky, unclean floors were a theme throughout the property.
The room décor was nice, the Wi-Fi was excellent, and my daughter was able to comfortably work on her assignments at the desk. I was also grateful that when I requested a late checkout at check-in, the staff was generous and accommodating, which I appreciated. The lobby was super cute and decorated festively, which made the rest of the experience even more confusing given what followed.
Breakfast was the biggest letdown. It was clear the staff who were present were doing the best they could under difficult, short-staffed circumstances, and I genuinely felt for them. However, the system failed both the employees and the guests.
There was no oatmeal or grits, and although the heating elements were on with signage suggesting more food was coming, it never did. Fruit and bread options were limited, the omelet station was closed, and the food that was available was unpleasant at best. There were also no herbal tea options—only caffeinated choices. Because of this, my elderly mother had to leave for her flight without proper nourishment, which was upsetting and avoidable.
I chose Embassy Suites (and paid more) because it’s usually reliable for dietary needs. Less than a week ago, my mom and I stayed four nights at the Embassy Suites near the Atlanta airport and had an excellent experience—so I know what this brand is capable of.
For context, my upcoming stay in Savannah is at Drury, which consistently delivers beautiful suites, a great breakfast, and an evening happy hour with a wide selection of fully replenished appetizers, all while being close and convenient to everything. That level of consistency is what I was expecting here.
I was also charged $10 for parking, despite my Hilton Honors app indicating free parking. No manager was on-site around 9 a.m. on a Saturday, though I was given a manager’s card.
What’s most frustrating is that I paid a premium specifically to avoid this kind of experience. Instead, I left feeling genuinely cheated by a stay that did not come close to what was promised.
Sharing in hopes of meaningful improvements especially better support for on-site staff so future guests don’t have the same experience.
