I spent 4 nights here as part of a 9-night solo trip to the low country area of GA and SC. I was looking for a hotel which would be a good compromise between the super expensive hotel in the historic district and the low-rated low-end hotels. Also I was looking for a pet-free hotel because I have a mental problem with getting close to certain animals including dogs and cats, and I can't stand the barking of dogs. I didn't eat the included breakfast, because I didn't see any fruit, or plain rolled oats or herbal tea. The hotel staff showed up at about 8:30am each morning, which was fine because I was already dressed and almost ready to leave, but I suppose somebody else would find this weird. I waved them to come right in and fix the bed and replace the towels, which they did. The black-out roller-shade blocked out almost all the light from outside Everything else in the room was in working condition. Also I was happy to have a working dehumidifier in the room.

They can't seem to get a card to work for more than a day. They have a loud dehumidifier set up in the room. They come by with carts early in the morning and they sound like freight trains going past the rooms. The towels were paper thin, shower head sprayed water everywhere but on you leaving the floor a soaking wet mess. Kids running all over and loud music until 2 am and nobody working here will do a thing about it.

Room is average but good for the money.
Location is good a few options for food and shopping.
I stopped here on a long drive down the coast needed some sleep, it was great until I was continously woken up by staff as they smoked their cigarettes and had loud conversations right outside my room this started at 1 in the morning again at 3 and again at 5 a.m , I finally had to go outside and say something.
People use your motel to rest not be woken up constantly by your staff absolutely ridiculous.

Terrible hotel. Very unclean rooms: the chair was dirty, the floor was dirty, the bathroom counter was stained and disgusting, the bathroom floor was sticky, the shower had hair in it, the shower head had disgusting stain, and the overall feel of the place was very unsanitary. When I went to breakfast in the morning, the breakfast room stank and was so unbearable that I could not eat in there. I have seen many comments about the cleanliness of the room but unfortunately that was not my experience. Would not recommend.

We show up at 2:12 AM by the front door. After knocking the door, we realized that there was nobody at the reception desk. We waited for about 20 mins and left. Once we found a new temporary place for a night, the receptionist called back in saying that he was on his break, and that we could come back in. These places need to have some type of procedure in place (leave a note I.e.)now this inconvenience would cost us additional motel of $75.
