We booked this for our wedding, the night before, and night of. We had a wedding block booked as well - let me tell you, this is a pig with lipstick on it.
My mother left her highly expensive diamond wrist band in the room, went back for it within 2 hours and it was already gone - all staff pretended like she was just crazy and lost it- we are 100% sure it was in there.
So besides staff being thieves, lets go into my junior suite.
AC NEVER worked, we complained within minutes of showing up first 10 minutes, took hours for maintenance to come, they claimed worked normal. So normal is - 76 degrees in June. we sweated each night, they brought a box fan in the 2nd night as they were tired of me complaining, so warm air blowing all over.
The manager was generally rude, and just mean about her replies when we brought it up. She acted like we were just complaining, and that her hotel was perfect. The room smelled moldy. A tiny bathroom, same size as the regular rooms... but this room cost 3x the price? like what.
The rooms them selves are outdated, in need of a serious face lift, the lobby, and general area feels and smells old.
I got a beer at the bar one night, in a warm mug, warm? so beer was.... warm. gross. Also how do you not carry an Atlanta staple like Sweetwater? Crazy.
You may wonder why I have not posted this in 4 months? Because my mother didn't tell me about the missing wrist band my father got her for their 50th anniversary until last week. I was going to let my wife and I terrible experience go, but after hearing that, how management spoke to them when they confronted them, and how they've given lack of care.
Location spot is great, just needs to be totally renovated, needs management swept out and new in, needs trustworthy staff.
Had the AC been addressed, and the cleaning staff not stolen the bracelet but instead called my mom to tell her they found it, they would have made customers for life - you can see my profile, I give honest reviews, leave tons of 5 stars to great worthy places.
