  I had to switch rooms during the stay because my first room had somebody’s personal belonging in it, no bath towels, and bits of hair on my bed. The second room I got there were black pieces on one of the beds, someone’s Taco Bell and propel in the fridge, and one of the lamps in the room didn’t even work. As a Diamond Elite member, I’m really disappointed with the booking I made through IHG. The people at the front desk were really nice about the whole process though.

  This place is the worst. The manager Erica has to much going on in her life. She doesn’t care about her workers and only hire people she wants to know. She cares less about customers and more about her image. Corporate needs to really look into this issue. Choose somewhere else to stay.

  Sonia erica valentina devisha they are the best at what they do staying here.they are like family and the best in the area .they are just a ten on everything and very professional .the house keepers are awesome as well.there are many hotels but this the place to stay .the food is outstanding but the customer service is second to none.they are the best in the area. The bar tender is awesome too.very professional and down to earth.the managment is the best in macon .the gm is the best gm i have every know ive been doing this for 20 years .so if you want to stay somewhere in macon great food and a great astomphere .come here.a place thats second to none.

  I've been and IHG member for over 10 years never experienced anything like this in all my years. I checked in a little after midnight. I didn't tell the front desk that my husband was coming about 2 hours later. The front desk attendant told him I wasn't in that room that it was a white family in there even after he showed the text message with the room number. She was very hostile then proceeded to call the police on him telling him she tries not to call the police on black men. Lied on the phone to the police telling them the room he said there's no one in there by that name. I had to go downstairs just so he could come up. I pray that no other guests get subjected to this treatment she was very unprofessional and out of line. I doubt I will be going to back to this establishment while she is employed there.

  I had an extremely upsetting experience at Holiday Inn Macon North. After driving 10 hours, arriving around 11 PM, and already being physically exhausted as a disabled traveler, the last thing I should have had to deal with was checking into a room with cockroaches. I reported it immediately, and while I was switched to another room, that room was not any better. There were mice running in and out of the walls, and the loud train noise made it impossible to rest. What made this even worse was the way it was handled by the front staff. A joke was made about how my service animal would be “chasing the cockroaches all night.” I did not find that funny at all. It was disrespectful, dismissive, and completely inappropriate given the condition of the room and the fact that I was disabled, exhausted, and just trying to get safe rest for the night. Instead of feeling helped, I felt humiliated. My written complaint also reflects that I had to change rooms late at night and still could not rest safely or comfortably. This was not a usable stay. No guest should have to deal with cockroaches, mice, noise, and staff making light of it when they are clearly overwhelmed and uncomfortable. I ended up leaving extremely early and sleeping in my car just to get proper rest. I would not stay here again.
