    I recently stayed here and it wasn't the best experience. I came in at 3:05 for my 3:00 check in to find my room wasn't cleaned. They rushed to find someone to rush and clean my room. Felt like it didn't get a good cleaning. The receptionist was extremely ill, hacking everywhere. The manager was no help. Next morning wanted to print sone documents and the computer was broke. So spent 45 mins finding place to print my paperwork. Lobby was nice and fancy. Not sure if I will be back.

    Room very clean, bed nice. Only problem I had was there are no curtains just a thin blind. They need to have a room darkening blind or curtains.

    I stayed at the hotel Dec. 1, 2025. I booked using the IHG app which showed renovations in the lobby and food areas. I was ok with that. They gave me a 3rd floor room. All was well at first. At 6:30 pm we wanted to take a pre supper nap. But noise from above made that impossible. I called the front desk who said that there were no guests above us but the 4th floor was under renovation. They said the work was supposed to stop much earlier. We were in an older room. We went out for supper and came back to an extremely noisy heater. The front desk clerk came up, acknowledged the problem, and apologized. However the hotel was full so she could not change the room. We had a terrible night with little sleep. The next morning I spoke with the front desk clerk who offered 10,000 points in compensation; worth about a half night stay. When the manager eventually arrived at the hotel I politely told her that I wanted enough points for a free night. Her body posture, facial expression, and tone of voice made me very uncomfortable. Ultimately she negated the points the front desk clerk offered us. I complained to customer relations who apologized correctly but were only willing to give me 10,000 points which I still have not yet received. Macon has other IHG hotels so I will not stay at this hotel ever again Over the last few years I have stayed at various IHG hotels for well over 100 nights. They are invariably super clean excellent hotels and I intend to continue staying at their properties. Unfortunately one only knows how “support” works when there are problems. The IHG apology was well written. The points they promised in no way come close to compensate for what we experienced and I am disappointed.

    I’ve stayed in 18 IHG hotels over the past 70 days, and this one impressed me the least. The toilet seat was improperly installed and slid side to side. Several bathroom tiles made loud noises when stepped on. At 8:30 a.m., a contractor knocked and woke me, needing access to install window covers in every room on the floor. The only working elevator had mud clods at the entrance that looked like feces. I reported it, and the front desk said they’d take care of it, but never did. Overall, the staff seemed to react to problems rather than prevent them. I mentioned everything at checkout and was given about $4 worth of member points from an otherwise indifferent individual. They just don’t seem to care about making the hotel the best it can be, which ultimately reflects poorly on the hardworking kitchen and housekeeping staff.
