Totally disappointed with hotel. Thr refrigerator barely got cold. There was no soap in the shower dispenser and someone left an old USED bar of soap on top of the dispenser. You mean they couldn't put more soap in when they cleaned the room and left a used bar soap in there???The trash bags were hanging on the side of the trash cans. Thought it was strange housekeeping couldn't just put them in the can. The sheets did not feel fresh to me!! My husband and I should have asked for a another room but to be honest we just drove over 14 hours and we're exhausted. I wasn't even sure if they had another since we didn't have a reservation but shame on us for not asking, we were just too tired. I take a light sleeping bag to sleep in just incase I'm not sure about the sheets and I definitely used it. The TV did not get good reception and barely got any channels and when you would get one it would be scrambled. Probably will not be staying at another Avid. We are IHG members and will go back to another IHG hotel but not that one.

Ok hotel. Staff not real friendly. Breakfast is allegedly 6:30-9:30. Nothing left at 7:30 and was told too bad. There were some moldy muffins left. What a joke. Need a redund

The staff here is super friendly. I got a great nights sleep and woke up feeling refreshed. Most Importantly, it didn’t break my wallet. There’s a lot of hotels in this district. Choose Avid, you won’t regret it. Aloha 🌺

I had the worst customer service experience of ANY hotel I ever stayed at. First, the elevator didn't work. This was a minor issue, but an issue none the less. The biggest issue was with communication (or lack there of). When making my reservation, I Googled their particular hotel specifically. I clicked website, and then pressed the number shown on screen. Apparently that was a third parties number? For the sake of this review, lets say that this is true. Not one time was this mentioned to me. I even asked why I hadn't received my email confirmation. This question was just kind of ignored. So at check in, or check out, there was still no mention of the third party booking. I feel like the email issue was a great time to bring it up. Check out is when the problem really starts. Once ready to check out, we (two parties, two rooms the second party booked with the real them) were told that the system was down and that we couldn't get our receipts. We were told that if we wrote our email addresses on the cardboard jackets of the room keys, that we would receive our receipts. Never happened. After receiving the "Once your ready to check out" texts, I begin to ask for the receipts. I made call after call before I was told by a woman (Roxy) that she would email me the receipt (still no mention of the third party). She did not email me a receipt. I called AGAIN. At this point (after some prodding) she explains the real issue. The third party booking. Sha states that the Avid Hotel where I stayed, could not print me a receipt. I asked to speak with someone else. She assured me that she was a manager, but she would find me some one. I was then transferred to Eric, the GM. Eric was also unable to help me, After insisting of a number for the third party (yes, I had to ask) he provided it to me. So basically, after dealing with an issue off and on for an entire day, I had to ask for a number to resolve my issue. Why not offer it earlier? Why not communicate the issue? I travel for my work and stay in hotels weekly. The manner and attitudes in which this was handled was the issue. I could have resolved my issue in a matter of minutes, had I been explained the issue early on. Pitiful excuse for customer service.
Their response to this review will be typical. "I am sorry for the issue" "Give us a chance to fix it" Etc. It will be an attempt to save face and to look like they care. The truth is, they had multiple chances to address my issue and simply did not. No digital excuse will work. They simply do not care. For the record, the other gentleman has never received his receipt either. These are crucial for employer for our reimbursement. But hey, they got their money.
