  Had a very good experience at the Locust Grove, GA location. We Travel to Florida each winter from Indiana and this is the first time staying at this location. We will plan our future trips to include a stay at this particular Inn. A young man named Chris working the front check-in desk was pleasant, respectful and very accommodating and attentive to our needs. He sets a standard of customer service that others can strive to achieve. He conducted himself as if he were the owner and that you the customer, were a very important piece of his overall success.

  Stopped at this inn on our way back home from Florida. It was convenient ….. we chose to stay due to Chris, the front desk manager on duty, going the extra steps to make sure we had what we needed (a handicap toilet ) there was no room with a roll in shower available. Chris took us to a room with a tub and handicapped grab bars to check out the toilet situation before we registered. He also helped later with a broken tv remote. He goes the extra mile for people and this hotel. I told him I appreciated him.

  We were greeted right away and check-in was quick and easy as usual at an IHG inn. Our room was immaculate and up-to-date. One feature I particularly liked is the full-length mirror with lighting as well as a shelf and electrical outlet. 👍 One feature I found unhelpful is the electrical set up on the side of the bed nearer to the window. The electrical outlets at that location turn off when the light switch is turned off rendering them useless for overnight needs such as charging a phone. Is that intentional? We arrived for breakfast at a time when the food supply was a bit on the low side but within 5-10 minutes everything was restocked. As we were leaving, I spent a few minutes chatting with Chris at the front desk, and he was quite sociable and friendly. He made me feel welcome and encouraged me to fill out a survey. Thanks to all who made my stay great!

  We have had the pleasure of staying at this hotel a couple of times! It’s convenient with plenty of places to eat and shop and in close proximity to the race track! The GM, Wally, is super friendly and professional and treated us like friends instead of guests! We will be back!

  Check in was quick because they prefill the cards out ahead of time. So that means if you want a top floor room, check in early. The hotel and room was clean and that's where the compliments end. Also I slept through breakfast so no notes on that. As soon as I walked in the room I heard the television form next door. I thought maybe they have it too loud until I heard the microwave go off and then I knew that they have thin walls. You can hear almost everything. I heard when the person coughed, what they were watching and on the other side of me I could hear when they closed their bathroom door. Also the room doors close loudly if you let them and unfortunately they did. The side of the building I was on, you could hear the traffic from outside, trains and emergency vehicles. The bed was decent but the shower water pressure was horrible. It was like bathing under a sprinkler. Fortunately the people around me and above me, I could hear their footsteps too, all went to bed around the same time so I was able to have a good night rest.
