    This is a review I did not make, but will be making now. We stayed for 2 weeks initially the first time due to my husbands work location. While staying maintenance woke me and my 4 year old 4 times in one week due to a leak under us, after the initial 4th time they woke us up and told us we had to move “we have a lot of stuff” we travel for a living with a 4 year old. So I guess no big deal I moved me, my child, and all our stuff in the morning of the 4 th visit. After moving rooms a few hours later if I remember correctly they asked me to put a card on file which I thought was weird, but I suppose the deposit didn’t roll over into the next week check in, so I gave them my card number over the phone while in the new room and hung up no issues. Then BAM 150$ CHARGE! I call back down stairs immediately, and they tell me it’s because there is gum on the recliner “I have a 4 year old” I know that’s a lie “who in there right Mind would give a 4 year old gum” also there is dye on a sheet. At this point I’m very confused, the lady says she has proof etc etc we hang up because we are getting no where “I wasn’t rude” even tho they just took 150$ with out informing me why first. I proceeded to call the IHG customer care number because this would probably be handled better with the company it’s self than the individuals. I left a voice mail explaining exactly what I said above, other then I added to the voicemail my husband does work construction and sometimes they use chalk “for chalk line” but that comes out with bleach, and I will be asking for proof and replacement costs also disputing the charge. I didn’t hear anything back, a few days go by my husband is moved to a different job site for 2 weeks, then moved back here to Lithia springs. So we rebook the Candlewood hotel and have been there 3 days at this point still havnt heard anything from the company it’s self, then comes the evening of our 3rd day we are asked to leave because I left a voicemail with IHG customer care. Upon asking for proof still 3 weeks almost 4 weeks later they can not provided pictures of “the severely damaged” “now multiple sheets” and we are asked to leave and handed papers of what looks like emails going back and forth. In the email that provided with customer care they lied, accused us of severe damage to now MULTIPLE ITEMS, and they did inform me before hand they where going to charge 150$ but a simple recorded call will tell the truth that they in fact did not disclose this before the charge happened. The complaint was made against the 2 individuals who has asked us to now leave. They informed my husband they no longer want to accommodate us because we left a bad review and “customer can see this” again I called and left a VOICEMAIL AND A CONTACT NUMBER! If customers can access that they have bigger issues then my complaint with the hotel. But since I was accused of leaving a review I will be leaving one now! The hotel its self is awesome! The older white lady “miss shelby” who works reception she I lovely and I give her a 10/10 for customer service! But the 2 individuals I am referring to have lied, failed to provide proof, and have now kicked us out mid stay with a 4 year old and husband that has to work and says we need to reach out to our 3rd party to get a refund which is now going to take days “and if you work out of town you know Perdiam doesn’t reload just because of a hotel issue so we are now having to figure out where me and my 4 year old are going to go while my husband deals with his company due to this issue. I am unsure of the name of the woman in which I made the complaint against, but the man is Danyez Hines. so moral of the story, if you file a complaint, ask for proof they will not provide it, they will lie, wait weeks, allow you to come back, then kick you and a child out mid stay and there is nothing you can do. Again hotel 10/10, miss shelby upfront 10/10, these 2 people on the other hand 0/10 and for them to be the ones reaching out and kicking us out seems very suspicious and strange retaliation
