  Rooms are nice and modern. Housekeeping staff is excellent and friendly, especially the housekeeping manager. Good location with fast food and gas, right off I-75. Terribly rude front desk staff during the morning. Wouldn’t give me a printed folio because I booked through a Booking.com even though I paid at the hotel. Front desk girl wouldn't even look up from her personal cell phone when I said good morning when coming back from breakfast. She claimed my IHG rewards number wasn’t in the reservation when it was, and didn’t apologize when she realized it was her mistake. The housekeeping manager saved the day -- I had booked "pay at hotel" so booking.com couldn't have given me the receipt as the front desk girl claimed. The housekeeping manager came out to the parking lot to give me the receipt that the desk clerk said was not possible to print. Front desk girl blamed me for both of her mistakes and refused to even try to make it right. She was very rude, unhelpful, and wrong on everything -- when she wasn't scrolling on her personal phone.

  Hotel is worn out already in many ways. There are cigarette butts all over the sidewalks and grass. The construction workers fill the entire parking lot and park every other space and not leaving much room due to the large size of their trucks. Room could have been cleaned a little better. Overall, I’d rather stay in. Valdosta Holiday Inn on St Augustine Road. I was disappointed- it’s advertised as new and it’s certainly not giving new vibes.

  Exceptional customer service. Very attentive. Room is very nice and well laid out and equipped for any type of trip.

  1. Second floor ice machine is so loud it is heard in our room, 210 (video). 2. There is no cap to the water stop in the sink (pic). 3. The toilet does not flush because the water level is not set properly in the tank (pic). I filled the garbage can from the tub and a full can affords one flush. The pool is full but closed (March 30, 2026, 65F.) This hotel has an overall clean appearance except for the nooks and crannies (pics). Behind a chair there is a bagged cord from a lamp (pic). I noticed the microwave appears to be rusty inside. Asked front desk person for a receipt and she stated that this is not at all possible because I booked it through an app. (A first, when I travel I often book on an app, desk has always provided receipt with summary of charges). Note to self, do not post my review before check out. As I waited for kids to get through showers, I wrote and posted. In going up and down loading the car I noticed the ice machine was shut off, and the response from the front desk person who was friendlier earlier. However: Hot breakfast very good offerings. Hot coffee machines 24/7, (2). Easy off I75. Decent price. I would stay here again. In the car heading out, I removed “outstanding customer service”from my overall review of this hotel due to the front desk person. However: for the breakfast lady, the head of housekeeping, and the other housekeepers and the night front desk guy, with whom I interacted, I heartily re-apply “outstanding customer service.” To the front desk person. Please do not take offense. I review what I see for the benefit of other travelers. And I read others reviews to make an informed decision when I travel.
