I didn’t expect a 5 Star hotel experience for the price, but I also didn’t expect a roach motel. First, I’ll start with the receptionist at check-in. She was less than welcoming to put it politely. She seemed put off by the fact that she had to check me in to my hotel room. She was not friendly at all, and just went through the motions of check in. It was painfully obvious that she does not like her job. Second, when I opened the door to my room, I was hit immediately with an awful odor. It smelled like a dog had gone to the bathroom in the carpet and it was poorly cleaned. There were dirty Q-Tips on the bathroom floor and the room just felt dirty. I went back to the receptionist and requested a new room, and she was extremely rude about it. Eventually was able to get a new room, and she put us in the room immediately next door to the one we were in. Before accepting the room, I took the key and went up to inspect. The next room was clean, but still had a not so pleasant smell. Luckily, I had an air purifier, so we ran that to help with the odor. Still the room just felt dirty and unpleasant, but we were tired and didn’t want the hassle of trying to find a new hotel. Third, the continental breakfast was absolutely less than to be desired. Bare minimum effort here. I understand trying to cut cost, but I’m willing to donate money for guests to have at least a waffle maker. Cereal and bagels is just not enough. Fourth, the workout room is laughable at best. Dirty, broken equipment and poorly equipped. Fifth, I had to go to the receptionist 3 times because my keys stopped working. Sixth, when I went to request more towels, you would’ve thought I asked for a million dollars. The receptionist was extremely rude about having to give me more towels. Bottomline, the hotel is poorly managed by the owner who is satisfied with “good enough”. The hotel would surely benefit from new management for sure. Do yourself a favor and pay an extra $20-$30 a night for better customer service and cleaner facilities. I wasted a bunch of Hilton Honors points on this room. Extremely disappointed. Do better Hilton.

We were late leaving at 12:20 because we couldn't find the car keys. A Puerto Rican woman called us twice with an unpleasant attitude and tone of voice. Anyone can make the mistake of misplacing their car keys, and that's why we were late leaving; it could even happen to her. Hotels usually give a few extra minutes of grace when something unexpected happens in the room. It was our first time visiting that hotel; there were many others around, and we had a bad experience at this one. On top of that, she threatened to charge us an additional $25 if we didn't leave quickly, for just 20 minutes.

It is a great small premium economy hotel. Easy off and on from 95 and perfect for one night stays when traveling. Not super fancy, but comfortable beds, hot water, and clean ‼️ Tyler was great upon check in, have to give a big shout out to him. Thank you for the diamond member upgrade!! Only negative is breakfast is lacking but for the price savings and great service have to give it 5 stars, it more than served the purpose at a reasonable price.

On October 21th my husband and I stayed at the Spark Hotel in Kingsland Georgia. This sweet lady Grace was very nice. I explained to her that I had shoulder surgery and needed to have two queen beds. I was hurting and could not sleep together with my husband in fear of him hitting my shoulder during the night. Grace said they only had king, but she went out of her way to accommodate me. She checked to see if another customer would like a king instead of two queens and they were very happy to have a king. Grace was such a kind and helpful lady. I wish there were more people like Grace. I hope the company will honor Grace in some form or another for her outstanding job she did helping a customer. I will stay at the Spark hotel again, the end of February or the being of March next year on our way to Florida. I hope to see Grace again. Kindness goes a long way. Please let her know again how thankful I was for all she did. Regards Linda Mcelhone

I was charged when I checked in and I was charged when I checked out and someone there evidently tried to charge a smaller amount on my card after I had locked it. I was supposed to get a call back from a manager and I still have not received one. some kind of scam going on here evidently. *update 7 days later there is still a hold of $176 being held on my card from this place after being charged $182 so the fiction that a hold of $50 is held and that's it it's just simply not true. I would love to discuss this personally I'm still waiting for that call back you guys have my number. this is not resolved you will be getting a call from the authorities*update I received a voicemail from this hotel claiming that they only hold $50 and my debit card was only charged $182 however they're still a hold as shown of $176.. this is 7 days later.. why is my money being held 7 days later after a hotel stay? and I still haven't received an explanation of why someone from that hotel tried to charge $6.50 after I had locked the card?? either someone working there is scamming people or the whole place has a scam going on regardless be careful people very careful
