  The best part of this hotel is the location and beachfront grounds. The hotel itself is very dated, lots of rust on outside doors and broken concrete outdoor hallways. From inside your room you can hear everyone walking outside your door and talking. The flooring inside the room was old carpet and tile on the bathroom floor grimy. Not what I would’ve expected for almost $500 for 2 nights in February. If we ever came to Jekyll island again I would definitely stay somewhere else. Also the only option for breakfast at the hotel is a buffet for $19 a person.

  I called and was trying to book a room the reservation part was not working so I tried the front desk and I was trying to tell the lady that I need to book a room and before I could tell her that the reservation part was not working she just transferred me to the reservation department and did the same thing just a busy noise and ends the call I called again and it rang for 2min before she picked up again and told me to hold and hung the phone up on me Im just trying to get a room because I have work to do for the city there but I will go somewhere else if your going to be like that I would find another job because your service is very bad ma'am

  Hospitality at its finest ! We never been to the island before , I told myself I was going to walk into a couple places and see how they were. When I pulled up i’m not going to lie, The curb appeal wasn’t the best but that’s what made it a hidden gem! The rear of the property on the ocean is absolutely stunning. And it’s not often these days where you go to hotel and you’re just treated with the high amount of hospitality and respect. They gave that warm southern old school charming vibe . The front desk lady: manager, I think her name was Caroline , Was such a pleasure and made us feel right at home. And it was my daughter’s birthday the whole staff made her feel special and let her pick the movie and made her day so special. I will 100% stay at this hotel every time I come to the island. And the food was great too!

  Our first time visiting Jekyll Island. From the moment we walked into the lobby and were greeted warmly by Kim, the experience got better and better. From our excellent dinner in their restaurant ( one Shrimp and Grits, and one Crab Cake sandwich), to complimentary coffee as the sun came up, and a great breakfast before we checked out, the food was wonderful. Our server was very attentive and we enjoyed talking to the manager. Outside we couldn't get over how quiet and restful the setting was. We lay in a huge upholstered shelter and meditated to the relaxing sound of the ocean. We've been to Holiday Inns all over the country and this property and the service was surely the best of them all.

  Top notch service. No question about that. Everyone at the reception is super nice. They were very flexible with adjusting dates. I had several issues with the room and all got corrected quickly. Bicycle rental is bonus. Location is in middle of everything. Bathroom shower had no pressure at all and something stinky about the water. People were very noisy. Even at 11 a.m., it was noisy. I was given a room next to washer dryer and it was continuous noise from there as well. Breakfast is the worst. Do not take the breakfast package. Overall, I liked it and will go again without the breakfast package.
