  We only needed one night here, but for the price, this was a great spot. The room was clean, and we were within walking distance to almost everything we wanted to see. There was plenty of parking, and we liked being able to park right near our door. Anyone worried about an elevator needs to get out more- these types of hotels/motels don't have those. That's been the case for decades. We didn't notice much noise from the other rooms, and though the TV worked fine for us, a storm affected the signal several times, which we were fine with, but don't see very often. We don't rely so much on a TV needing to work, though. Overall this is a great spot to stay when in Helen!

  Took my young daughter for her first visit in Helen. This hotel had everything you need for a quick trip like this. Keir was amazing along with the rest of the staff!! Pool heater went out but mechanical issues can happen anywhere. Will be back 100%

  The hotel is in a great location. It is a short walking distance to all the shops. At night you can go out on the walkway from room 203 and look at all the lights and enjoy the view.

  If you're staying for a day or two, this is a good choice! No elevator, make sure to pack light! 10 minutes walk to our favorite Brick house Pizza place! We stayed at Room 202, King size bed, clean room and the whirlpool looks new and clean! Pretty convenient to walk on the street as they have a cute bridge on 2nd flr!

  We saw online that Helen Ga. was having a A New Years Eve celebration which was including activities for children so we decided to go up there from Orlando Florida. When we got there we were surprised by the minimal lighting for the area. But upon checking into the Hotel and getting to our room we were so disappointed. The room was an average room (outdated) but it say newly remodeled. The T.V. only played 1 channel, the heater blew out cool air even on heat and the bathroom ceiling had a prior repair done but had mold on it. I guess I wouldn't complain as much about those things if I had rented a $100 room. But I was charged $324.92, please tell me how you feel that your room is worth of charging that amount. The town didn't even have much to offer on New Years Eve. Such a huge disappointment for traveling as far as we did. That price was ridiculous especially since I am a rewards member and AARP discount. I have to say the workers that worked the desk at evening and morning were very nice and polite.
