  Booked and paid for 1 night through a third party travel site (for $119). We checked in around 4pm and the front desk lady took my ID and credit card (I assumed for incidentals) and she typed in my email. I went down later and said something about email and another girl at the front desk said If I book through a 3rd party, the hotel doesn’t send me any emails. We check out around 7am the next day. A few days later I see a pending $500+ charge on my credit card from Holiday Inn. I call the hotel saying I paid through a 3rd party and there shouldn’t be any charges. She said there’s a note that that charge was a mistake and was reversed. Also we discovered they typed in my email wrong. A few days later there’s a charge for $121 from Holiday Inn. Call the hotel again and was told to call back when the manager is in. I got in touch with the travel site to help me. After back and forth, the hotel says they are charging $121 because I was a “no-show” and refuse to refund that. I was very much there in room 524 and very much clearly stated “I’m checking in” and rode up and down in your rickety old elevator, but somehow that’s a “no-show” and subject to penalty? So I was charged for both the night I stayed and also charged a “no-show” penalty because they said I wasn’t there. And they are refusing to refund the “no-show” charge… even though, just to make it clear, we did indeed check-in, play in the pool, and sleep there.

  Attended a Women's Conference here and we were welcomed with a super amazing guest services team and breakfast staff were very professional and courteous! We will definitely return and refer others. The lounge/ eating area environment was clean and cozy! The conference room was comfortable and spacious!

  I recently stayed at this hotel for a few days. On my first day, the front desk staff member Courtney was extremely helpful and professional. She quickly helped me find the room type I preferred and made the check-in process smooth. I also really appreciated the hotel environment — clean, comfortable, and exactly what I was looking for, especially the walk-in shower (not a handicap one). However, on my third day, I had a somewhat uncomfortable experience. I was told I could not fill my 600ml thermos with the complimentary water at the front desk and was asked to use small plastic cups instead. The explanation was that the chef was not available and that taking too much water might leave less for other guests. I found this a bit confusing, as I was only filling a standard-sized bottle. In the end, I had to use multiple plastic cups to transfer water into my thermos, which felt unnecessary and wasteful. I deducted one star specifically because of this experience, as it felt like an unreasonable restriction for such a simple request. Overall, the hotel has good facilities and some excellent staff like Courtney, but this inconsistency in service affected my experience. I hope management can clarify or improve this policy for future guests.
