    This is by far the worst hotel I have ever been too. I booked a room for two days but was charge for three I was told I would receive a refund and never did . The staff is very rude and the rooms are very unkept , the bathroom toilet was clogged the moment I walked in my room the beds have bed bugs !!! The sheets are definitely not washed . The day I arrived to check in my room was giving to someone else also management at this establishment is very unprofessional!! And colorist! They treat front desk workers very wrong one young lady has exceptional customer service and was very kind and helpful with me getting a refund and getting me my correct room .

    After being assigned 3 rooms back to back (booked for a week for business trip) turns out they are just infested with roaches and bed bugs. Rooms are worn down (nothing like the pictures). Hallways smell like weed and cigarettes. I seen 2 huge rats outside roaming around the building. Don’t see how people stay here. The customer service sucks really bad it seems like every staff member I came across was very rude except one girl that was there at front desk I think her name starts with a J she was always there throughout the afternoon she was very professional and greeted each person that walked in with a smile and made me feel welcome!

    Dear Holiday Inn Express, I am writing to formally complain about an extremely disappointing experience at the Holiday Inn Express in Duluth. As a Platinum IHG Rewards member, I expect a higher standard of service and cleanliness than what we encountered during this stay. Upon check-in, we were assigned Room 425. When we entered the room, it was immediately clear that it had already been occupied and not serviced. The room was in unacceptable condition, with clear signs of prior use and was utterly filthy, making it unfit for guests. We reported this to the front desk and were reassigned to Room 227, only to find that this room was also being used and equally dirty. Encountering two rooms in succession that were both occupied and unclean is completely unacceptable and demonstrates a serious lapse in housekeeping and room management procedures. As a Platinum member, I have chosen to stay loyal to IHG brands because of their reputation for consistency, cleanliness, and guest care. This experience fell far below those expectations and caused significant frustration and inconvenience. I am requesting that this matter be reviewed promptly and that appropriate steps be taken to address both the cleanliness failures and the front desk procedures that allowed this situation to occur. I would also appreciate appropriate compensation or acknowledgment for this experience, given the inconvenience and the clear deviation from IHG standards. Thank you for your time and attention.     This hotel was absolutely trash! They gave us two used rooms and showed us a sassy attitude at the front desk. They were horrible and didn’t apologize for their behavior. What if there was a person in the room. If you want horrible service this is your best option. Never go here and we thought we would have a peaceful experience but it was the total opposite of that.

    Unaccommodating to breastfeeding moms. I have traveled a good bit with my six month old who due to being born premature never learned to latch and transfer milk so I’ve been pumping since he came home from NICU. In all my travels I never had an issue with the hotel keeping my Momcozy freezer packs in their larger freezer until I came here. Unfortunately, most mini fridges do not keep expressed milk at a safe temperature so I travel with my own cooler. I called ahead of time to confirm they’d store my freezer packs (which are plastic and gel inserts like you find in a lunch box) in their larger freezer and was told it would not be an issue. Upon check in the front desk person refused this request and went to get a manager. I spoke with the manager, showed her my freezer packs and how they never come into contact with milk. She agreed it would not be a problem. A few moments later she chased me down the hall and told me they couldn’t accommodate me and urged me to “just try” the fridge in my room which has a tiny freezer slot and barely got cold enough to cool a soda. I am not about to risk my baby’s safety. I ended up having to pump and feed my baby our entire vacation which means I was having to pump every two hours as opposed to four because I could not safely store his milk. Hilton, Hampton Inn, and Marriott have always been supportive and it is our intention to not return to this hotel chain.
