This was my second time staying at this hotel after attending a concert at Gas South. It is very convenient. This IHG has not been updated in a long time. Only one elevator was working, which made it very inconvenient, especially since it was pretty crowded due to the concert. Also, only 3 ice machines were working out of a 6 story hotel. They need to do better!! It definitely isn't on the same level as most other IHG's that I have stayed at.

The location is absolutely perfect for anyone attending an event at the convention center or Arena — it’s literally the shortest walk possible. My room was large, very clean, and well-equipped with fresh towels, a microwave, refrigerator, and Keurig coffee maker. The shower was spacious and wide enough to easily accommodate a walker or wheelchair, with plenty of room to move around comfortably. I stayed in a king room that included a sofa bed and still had plenty of open space — nothing felt crowded. The hotel is also dog-friendly, which was a huge plus. Breakfast was available as a buffet for just $4.99, and dinner was pay-by-item from a simple menu featuring burgers, chicken tenders, and salads. They also have a gym, lounge, and pool, though I didn’t use those amenities during my stay. My only concern was that one of the two elevators was out of order, and the stairwell was taped off with construction tape. This raised some safety concerns, especially regarding fire evacuation. When I asked the front desk clerk, she was very friendly but explained that she would open the stairwell in case of a fire. I mentioned that guests wouldn’t know when it was open, and she said she’d “run up to let us know” — which didn’t sound realistic and could waste critical time in an emergency. The limited elevator access also meant longer waits. Overall, it was a clean, comfortable stay in an unbeatable location, but the elevator and stair access issues should definitely be addressed for guest safety. Which is the only reason I'm rating this hotel as a 4 star. Fix the elevator and the safety issue with the stairs and it would have received a 5 star review.

Horrible experience our first Trip to Georgia to see Bryan Adams in concert. Only good thing about this hotel is it is very close to the Arena so we could walk. My 1st bad review of a Holiday Inn. We check in at 3pm and no carts available, then there is only 1 Elevator working with tons of people coming in for the concert! Then we go outside to get to the stairwell and they are Painting the walls! Really? A fire hazard with only 1 Elevator working. No one bothers to get us a cart or tell us about the elevator or apologizes! We have been traveling from NC and think this is nuts! People standing in Lines for the only 1 Elevator working - horrible! The Carrabas restaurant was super good - but the traffic here is awful - will never come back.

Nikita was so kind, friendly and warm that she brought a beautiful ambience to this hotel that made up for some of its shortcomings. She was consistently helpful and kind to everyone. The rooms are nice and the hotel has a decent breakfast. I just think that hotel owners need to fix the second elevator because it makes it difficult to go up the to the sixth floor, especially when there are no indoor stairs.

A housekeeper came into our room one hour before checkout and saw me while I was naked. I’ve never experienced any hotel trying to enter for cleaning before the guest has checked out, especially an hour early. I thought it was my wife knocking at the door. When I brought this issue up, the manager said it was their protocol. So I have to ask — if your protocol is to start cleaning an hour before checkout, what happens if the guest messes up the room again afterward? Do you then let the next guest check in with the room in that condition? The staff here seem to be more skilled at making excuses than offering apologies for their mistakes.
