  Overall Clean Hotel, was getting fresh paint in the lobby and first floor hallways during my visit. Staff was very nice. 2 nights for work. Quiet and common business traffic during the week.

  Stayed on Dec 18 2025. Ladybugs everywhere. Mgt tries to explain as they are a protected species - NOT! Just don’t want to spend money for extermination. Noisy staff.

  The hotel is in a good location. The room was clean. There was no hot water. Just warm. If there are more than two people in a room, beware, there are only two towels.

  We were in town for leisure. My girls and I went to explore “Mystic Falls” which was just under 5 miles away. The hotel was very nice, and clean. The staff was very friendly. The beds were very comfortable and so were the pillows. The room’s temperature was also very comfortable. The breakfast was ok. It’s express hot food so that means very processed but we enjoyed the fruit, yogurt, and bagels! We had an issue with our bathroom sliding door but nothing to complain about. It just wouldn’t slide in the track but was easily manipulated to open. My biggest issue was with the keyless entry pad. Our first night in town we dropped off our bags and went to dinner. When we came back we couldn’t get into our room. We notified the front desk and she tried alternate keys. She contacted management to see how she could do. She was advised to try a computer reset/sequence so she did that next for a few times but still was unsuccessful in getting us into the room. She did offer to give us another room however we declined because all of our stuff was in the inaccessible room. We waited in the lobby while she again contacted management to get approval to contact maintenance. Once she was able to request maintenance we waited on his arrival. Once he arrived he was rather quickly able to access the room with the same computer technique the front desk attendant had attempted an hour or so earlier. The keys still would not work and he advised us that housekeeping would check/ change the batteries the next morning since he didn’t have a tool to access the back of the panel or the batteries on hand. So now we couldn’t go to breakfast together because one of us had to stay in the room to let the other back in. 😣 A very nice maintenance man ( Laven) came mid morning and quickly put in new batteries and it was fine for the remainder of our stay. My request here is that all staff( specifically late night staff working without management or maintenance on hand) be equipped and trained to quickly handle this themselves. It was fairly simple and I am confident she would have been able to take care of this in minutes had she been trained and had the proper tools on hand.
