- BKBryan KeithDec 12, 20251.0Do better Holiday Inn Express! Reserved king size room a week in advance, room 434. Checked in on 12 Dec at 10:40pm, went smooth. Arrived at room and 5 minutes later my Wife said she felt sick from a skunk like smell. As I walked in to the hallway, sure enough the smell was Marijuana emanating from the room across the hall. I went to the front desk to switch rooms (explained the dilemma) and we were switched to room 214. Arrived at 214 to find 2 queen beds. The bed closest to the door is bottomed out to the SPRINGS. The nice gentleman at the desk stated they were out of King size beds (could of told me that when you switched rooms for us). Based on the reviews I really expected more and I realize the pot smokers weren't within the hotel's control. I wish I could leave a positive review, but unless this hotel addresses their mattresses, I recommend looking elsewhere. I'll be more than happy to address this review if management reaches out personally about these issues.
