I wanted to share some feedback regarding my experience. Upon arrival, I was greeted courteously by the front desk staff and was checked into Room 209. At first glance, the room appeared clean; however, I noticed toilet paper stuffed into the front door’s peephole, which suggested that it may have been left by a previous guest and overlooked during housekeeping. Additionally, the air conditioning unit made a persistent whining noise throughout my stay. On the morning of November 24, I experienced a family emergency. I informed the property as soon as I became aware of the situation—approximately 6:00 AM—and I returned my room keys by 7:00 AM. Since I was unable to stay the final night, I requested a partial refund for the unused day. I was first told that a refund could not be issued because my reservation was made through a third party. However, I had already spoken with the third party, who indicated that the request was declined by the property’s management. When I spoke with the manager, I was then told a 24-hour notice was required, despite the fact that my check-out was originally scheduled for 11:00 AM on November 25. Given the circumstances and the fact that the room was vacated well in advance, I feel it is unreasonable to retain payment for a night I did not stay. This experience has unfortunately left me dissatisfied, and it will impact my decision to stay at this property in the future.
