  We were heading to Florida from Ohio and needed a late night place to stay. I booked a room here just to sleep and get on the road. Granted, I only paid $72 and I figured “how bad can it be, it’s got the Best Western name in its name?” Turns out it can be really bad. There was a large amount of dried drippings on one wall, black grime behind the toilet, a large hole in the shower ceiling with grocery bags stuck in it and, I kid you not, cobwebs from one of the headboards to the wall behind it. The headboard itself was covered in sticky dust. The towels were almost see through and the outlet by the sink and coffee maker was nonfunctional. The beds were decent but I didn’t dare put the bedspread next to my skin. We noticed there were barely any cars in the lot and when I asked the front desk why they were so slow (before knowing what our room would be like), he said “We are completely full. Everyone must have taken Ubers to get here.” Hahaha! I am thinking he was a family member that bought the franchise. We only stayed because it was 11:00 PM and my husband couldn’t drive another minute.

  If we weren’t so tired we would not have stayed. We often stay at Sure stay, this is by far the worst. First of all we got into the room and thought okaaaay.. started to unpack some stuff and then go out to eat.. the door wouldn’t lock.. had to switch rooms..next room door locked but the place is absolutely NOT clean.. the walls are dirty, baseboards are filthy and absolutely not touching the chair.. it is horrible. The tub🤔 . Poor water pressure shower.. went to use the toilet.. there was a big bug in it…grrrr. The beds seemed to be okay.. leaving early In the morning..mirrors are dirty. Someone left junk in the chair..

  It was nice to be able to check in a few hours early before normal check-in hours since we were on the road driving for so long and traveling through this town. It cost and extra $20 to do so. But worth it. The room did have an issue with super tiny ants at the sink area and in the bathroom. We also found 1 tiny "bug" on the nightstand. So I hope they will get some sort of exterminator in there since the bug was a baby palmetto bug. Otherwise, the bed was clean and comfortable and we appreciated being able to get some rest before traveling another 10 hours the next day.

  This hotel is thr absolute WORST place i have EVER stayed. I felt like I was in a pay by night hotel where Noone ever cleans. The sheets had stains, the walls were covered in dirt, doors had foot prints and dirt, microwave was absolutely covered in food, cobwebs and dust everywhere, shower had a detachable head and the original spot was covered. I had to stand against the wall to shower, there were wires hanging out of the ceiling from a light or smoke alarm that once existed, The curtains were disgusting, the shower curtain was white with yellow stains, shower had brown running down the walls that was stained that way, mirror in bedroom had finger prints all over it, headboard had greasy prints all over it. The lobby looks emaculant but the rooms are absolutely disgusting. I left after 4 hrs and didnt go back for the second night. There were only 3 other people staying there. DO NOT STAY HERE! I emailed them and never heard a word back or received my money back.
