I’ve stayed at this hotel about three times over the past five years. The first two stays were perfectly fine. Unfortunately, this most recent stay will be my last—not only at this property, but with Embassy Suites altogether. I am simply trying to obtain an emailed copy of my receipt for an expense report. When I called the front desk over the weekend, I was told that only the manager could provide it (something I have never encountered in the many hotels I’ve stayed at for business) and that I should call back during weekday business hours, 9am–5pm. I did exactly that. After four attempts, endless ringing, multiple dropped calls, and no one answering the front desk, I still have no receipt. The hotel’s AI phone system traps you in an endless, maddening loop and appears deliberately designed to prevent you from speaking with a real human being—let alone an actual staff member at the hotel. The final straw was when the AI assistant offered to help me draft an email asking for my receipt after I had already spent well over an hour and a half today alone trying to resolve this issue (not counting prior attempts). Nearly $700 in reimbursements from this stay are still on hold because I cannot get something as basic as a receipt. Maybe this review will finally get a human being’s attention—if not from hotel management, then from future guests who may want to avoid this complete lack of customer service and incredibly frustrating experience altogether. I certainly wish someone had warned me.

We had a sudden change of plans that brout us to the area. On paper everything look like it would be really good with the location - the hotel is attached to a mall. The mall is pretty defunct - except for one anchor and the movie theater there's not much in there. It is cheaper that staying on the islands, especially with our last minute change, but both St Simons and Jekyll are easy to get to in about 30 minutes. Overall good stay.

The manager Eddie Flowers was so rude . Please avoid your stay here . We booked 2 rooms for 3 days . As everyone is saying the rooms were dated . Same breakfast with the stale bacon from the previous morning but The breakfast staff was good . To top it our safe in the room did not open when we were checking out . They worked on it for 5 hours and we were waiting there with grandparents aged 92 and 90 and after all that there was no apology from the manager . Eddie flowers the manager when we were leaving had an attitude that we finally got them out and now we can have the room for other guests. So not sorry for anything and no bye or a smile from him . He was very rude

We stayed here for work in April 2025. The rooms are really nice. They seem to all be like little apartments. Breakfast options are good as well. The only thing that is odd is the area. It seems safe overall but it is adjacent to a mall that isn’t doing too well. It is pretty dead actually. Anyway, everybody locked their cars, and we never saw anything happening. The cars were rentals anyway.

Freaking love this hotel. We stay in the same two bedroom 3 bed (king and 2 queens [and a pullout sofa if needed]) room. Which works amazing for the family! Stayed here at least 7 times- all great experiences. Have a crib if you need one, free breakfast, and pool. A few miles off the interstate but highly worth the drive if you have a big family and need one unit/room with two separate bedrooms. 3tvs, two separate hvac units.
