We had a very nice stay here while attending the ANWA. Our daughter left something very special to her in the room and the hotel staff, especially lead housekeeper April went out of her way to help us find it! She and the rest of the team are true gems and made our stay lovely. Will definitely be back here during our next trip to Augusta!!

These hotel owners are dishonest. They use bait a switch tactics to push people to other properties. IHG/Holiday Inn Express in downtown Augusta canceled my room at 5:00 pm on the day of the reservation, even though it was non-cancelable. When I called IHG for assistance with a room, the agent was completely dishonest with me about availability and I booked a room at this property in a moment of duress because I was led to believe that there was a shortage of rooms in the area. It was a bait and switch tactic used on the part of IHG. When I tried to cancel this room less than an hour later, we were told we could not get a refund. I contacted customer service, but of course, there is no one to talk to. They put you on hold perpetually and they don't respond to messages. I've stayed at IHG properties several times in the past, but I am never staying at one again EVER. They, through this property, have stolen $180 dollars from me.

I recently stayed at the Staybridge Suites Augusta for $105 per night. Overall, it was a solid experience with a few highlights and some areas for improvement. The Pros: Spacious Rooms & Kitchens: The rooms are large and come with a full kitchenette, which is a major "pro" for longer stays or those who prefer to cook. Staff & Hospitality: The staff were very professional and welcoming. It was also heartening to know the property is Indian-owned—it added a nice touch to the hospitality. The "Social" Evenings: A huge highlight is the social gatherings from Monday to Wednesday. They serve food and drinks, which is a unique perk you don’t see at many other hotels. Amenities: I used the gym during my stay, and it is well-maintained and a good facility for a workout. The Cons/Areas for Improvement: Room Odors: As a pure vegetarian, I found the constant smell of non-veg food in my room and the corridors quite off-putting. The hotel should consider using room fresheners in the hallways and general areas to maintain a neutral scent. Entertainment: The TV is not a smart TV, which feels like a must-have these days. In-room entertainment was very limited because of this. Maintenance: A few of the washing machines were out of order, though the ones that worked were fine. Also, towel availability in the common areas was sometimes an issue. Food & Drink: The breakfast was okay to manage but not great. Additionally, friends mentioned that the quality of the beer during the socials has declined recently. Final Verdict: A good stay for the price, especially if you value having a kitchen and attending the weekday socials. With a bit more attention to room freshness and tech upgrades, it would be exceptional!

I don’t know how this hotel has 4 stars on Google. The staff is mostly friends but the rooms are nasty. They don’t vacuum or mop. The only service is trash and bedsheets. They don’t touch anything else in the rooms. I’d recommend washing the dishes before you use them. I wouldn’t go barefoot around the room at all. The breakfast is small and had very bland food. The tv is small and sounds like crap. For the process they are charging you’d expect more from comparable hotels. Oh and the WiFi is terrible. My phone hotspot is much faster.

This is our first time coming to this hotel and I absolutely love it here!!!! What I didn't expect was our room has a small kitchen which is very nice! (the other hotels we usually go to dont have a kitchen in the rooms) Also, our room has separate bedrooms so that another person can have the other. Also the breakfast they have at this hotel is really good. If we come back to Augusta, we will be definitely coming back to this hotel!
