  After requesting that I pay at the property and consolation within the first 10 minutes I was told by booking.com that Holiday inn Express had to approve the refund that I wanted now Holiday inn Express is saying to me that they cannot because it had to be 24 hours before I checked after I checked in that I could actually do the cancellation when the rules clearly stayed online that if you don't come in the same day you book the room you automatically get your money taken how is this fair this is a ripoff if I actually get legal reference they would actually probably get me more than I have given this is an unprofessional business The Establishment is unprofessional the staff is unprofessional the staff are liars the young lady at the front desk spoke to me and told me it was up to booking.com to issue that refund only later to come back to find out that it is actually not that Holiday inn Express actually has to prove the refund and booking.com completely completely gave me an explanation that said that Holiday inn Express had to approve that this leads me to believe that Holiday inn just does not want to approve the refund and they don't want to give me my money back they want to keep the money this is very very unprofessional and for a place that is supposed to be professional and is a business that is profitable this is very unprofessional it's bad I'm going to tell all my family and friends about it and suggest that they don't that they don't they don't they don't book here weather through another organization a third party or straight to Holiday inn Express I am also thinking of going to the news so that others can see they will not have a fair chance of receiving a refund or anything else if they need to cancel

  So, let me start by saying there were two women from the front desk that were absolutely amazing, very helpful and great with the guests. However, we had issues with the room from the very beginning that I told the desk about. Three times, and the fourth time the lady on night shift sent the Repair gentleman to my room, in which the shade for the window was broken and the lamp wouldn't turn off. By this time the only solution was to move rooms, but I had already unpacked and became situated with my kids. We made the reservation online, and added two kids and their age, we were put on the 5th floor and we checked in relatively early since we were late to our reservation, which I'm quite confused about- just an idea if you have kids that are young, get the first floor [or you'll be sushing them all the time]. I'm very displeased that someone didn't come to the room when I first brought up the problems. Also, Holiday Inn please figure out how to get more accommodations for parking. Widen your lot please, it was quite difficult for parking.

  PROS:: Rooms are Comfortable & Clean. Dog friendly for large dogs too with a $75 fee Good breakfast with cinnamon rolls, costa coffee, crispy bacon, turkey sausage & biscuits/gravy CONS: TV channels not great (showed the same shows every night) & seemed like they may have put everyone on the 3rd floor & unfortunately we had very loud neighbors

  Good hotel not a great area, park inside the gate if allowed. Rooms were pretty clean there was a smell of marijuana coming from an adjacent room, front desk was notified. Staff was friendly and breakfast was really good for hotel breakfast.
