I want to state that Sanaa at front desk was amazing and kind. Upon arriving I met Norman the bellman who was very informative about the local area and advice on where to get good bites. Moving forward I met a beautiful soul name Mimi, she is head of housekeeping and they are awesome. My room was fresh and beautiful. Bed was the best. I did have a tv issue but that was quickly resolved thanks to Broderick. He's a very charming southern soul. Also I decided to hang around the hotel and get to know it's history so I went to the bar to do so. After meeting the bartender Tameka I was convinced I'm at the right hotel. She let me know more about the history of the hotel and the city of Augusta. Overall I enjoyed my stay and will return. And next time I will make it up to the rooftop....

This was one of the best stays I have ever stayed. The entire hotel is 5 stars on everything from service to cleanliness of the hotel… I was really amazed at the pumpkin contest they had going on. I think that really makes the employees have fun while working. I encountered Mimi and Yeti walking in and they were inspiring guest upon entry to vote for the pumpkins. They were super friendly and welcoming. I met some of the maintenance workers and shockingly they were super friendly. Broderick made sure he introduced me to his boss Tyler and they were so helpful. They let me know to please call for them if any problems arises.

My room was very nice and clean. Pretty spacious as well. I can tell that the building was every bit of its age but I see that they take keeping it up very well. Thanks to housekeeping for fulfilling every need. Thanks to maintenance Broderick for helping with tv. Thanks to Dominique for making sure my towel was fresh and warm. And I think her name was Ms Mimi. She’s awesome

Some red flags.
Pulled up for the free valet and was told to just go park ourselves at the nearby lot. Odd.
Visited rooftop bar for drinks. Not enough help. Took at least 25 minutes for bartender to walk over to take order. It wasn’t that busy. Just not enough help. Two nights in a row. When it was near closing, the bartender was abrupt with his request for us to leave.
Worst part was after I left, I realized I left some articles of clothing in a drawer. I called the same day I checked out and I’ve now called 4x and talked to the team who works the front counter. They take my info every time and never call back as they promise. They keep checking lost and found and with housekeeping. It’s insane. I’ve also emailed. No reply. How can housekeeping not have found these clothes and immediately know who they belong to?
Extremely disappointed.
