I stayed here for one night and had a great experience. Even though pulling into the hotel was a little tricky with all the traffic, turns, and other hotels nearby, once I got inside everything was smooth. I felt safe, secure, and welcomed by the very nice staff. My room was spectacular—clean, comfortable, and exactly what I picked using the Hilton Honors app. I love being able to choose my own room, especially since I always request to stay close to the elevator so I’m not hauling luggage and camera gear down a long hallway. I grabbed a drink at the hotel to unwind before a friend picked me up and took me to Doc’s Porchside Bar & Grill—an iconic local spot with great seafood that I highly recommend. There’s also a liquor store right outside the hotel, which was super convenient. Overall, this Hilton Garden Inn has a great location, friendly people, and everything I need for a comfortable stay. I’ll definitely be back in a few months when I’m in Augusta for work. Great stay—love it!

During my stay Nov 15-17, 2025. On Saturday I approach the front desk. I informed the young man I needed a key for the 2nd adult. I used the digital key, needed a physical key to give to the guest. I gave him the room number. He proceeded to program a key and gave it to me. I wasn't ask any type ID or anything to validate I was the person to be in that room. I'm not sure the policy, but this would be a safety issue that is unacceptable. Please enforce or put in place something that would require ID to verify this person is attached to the assigned room.

I just have to say, Zondra (I may have mispelled it) had my room immaculate. I needed to check in early and it made my arrival all the better. The young man working front desk, just a pleasure and most helpful as well.

Noisiest hotel Ive stayed at in the last 20 years. So we had booked a king suit since there were no regular king rooms available and it was only $20 more than the regular rate. Turns out the suit shares a wall with the loudest, jankiest elevator to have existed since the turn of the century. All night, we were haunted by intermittant loud electrical humming and a whooshing that sounded like running water. After about an hour, we figured out what floor the elevator was going to by the length of the electrical hum. Fortunately, we got in late and were so exhausted we were able to sleep through it with a little assistance from melatonin, but under other circumstances, we would have asked for a different room. Bathroom also no ventilation and is in desperate need of a renovation. Otherwise, room was suitable and the staff was super friendly. Hilton, this building needs some serious love to be on par with other Garden Inns.
