  The room was very beautiful, clean and spacious! The staff is absolutely lovely and everyone we encountered was very friendly and hospitable. There were a couple of minor things that were a little annoying (for example, the alarm system was on a touchscreen device and never turned off completely and it was bright and a little bothersome during the night), but overall it was a nice stay. This hotel probably is not worth the full price, but at a discount it’s a very good place to stay.

  We chose the Waldorf Astoria Buckhead for our New Year’s babymoon and, unfortunately, the experience fell short of expectations due to repeated communication and coordination failures. Months before our stay, I contacted guest services to plan a babymoon experience. While there was no official package, we discussed specific snacks, a color scheme, and non-alcoholic beverages that were supposed to be in our room upon arrival. I never received any follow-up. When we arrived and asked the front desk about the babymoon details I had planned, they said they would look into it — but no one ever followed up, and nothing was delivered. I also booked a couples massage at the time of reservation and made it very clear that I would be seven months pregnant and would require a prenatal massage. I was assured this was noted, along with replacing the champagne included in the couples massage with sparkling cider. On the day of our appointment, I arrived early and checked both of us in. I again shared that we were on our babymoon and that I was pregnant. Despite this, I was taken to a single massage room with no prenatal accommodations. I had to remind staff that I was pregnant and that this was supposed to be a couples massage. The appointment was delayed while they tried to locate my husband, switch rooms, and make prenatal adjustments. During this time, my husband was left at the spa front desk in his street clothes. He was never taken to the men’s lounge to change and repeatedly asked about his wife, but staff seemed unsure what he was referring to until my therapist personally went to find him. After the massage, my husband was handed his champagne, while I received nothing. I had to request the sparkling cider I was promised, which took an additional 20 minutes to arrive. While the room itself was very nice and the food was good, these service lapses were frustrating and disappointing — especially for a special milestone trip and at a property that markets itself as luxury. Attention to detail and internal communication were lacking throughout our stay.

  Top experience overall on all my 3 stays with WA Atlanta Buckhead. Product and service absolute quality from all departments. Attentive attention to detail and great job by FO on guest recognition & name usage throughout my stays. Unfortunate that Steam room was OOO during my stays but swimming pool, sauna and large jacuzzi absolute wonderful. Would come back & recommend anytime when staying in ATL.

  This was my first time staying at the Waldorf Astoria Buckhead. I chose it for a brief 2 night staycation based on the spa. After arriving I was informed that the spa would be closed or noisy for the day I had intended to use it due to last minute renovations. This is where the Waldorf shined. Team member Abdul went out of his way to make it right. He did everything in his power to recover my experience and he succeeded. Service from the valet, to the restaurant, to the front desk was top notch. I will be back!

  We stayed there for a family Disney trip/ birthday celebration and we had an amazing experience. From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable. They even gave us hand written notes and chocolate for our birthday. The view of the resort/golf course was so nice to wake up too, you can see the fireworks at night from your window. The breakfast buffet was 10/10. We stayed around the holidays, they had live Christmas carol singing and a hot chocolate bar. They put a lot of effort to create a festive atmosphere. Highly recommend this place, we would definitely stay with them again.
