With 100-ish rooms that are all a little different, voco The Darwin - Atlanta Midtown invites guests to empty their rucksacks and refill them with the heart and soul of Atlanta. Travel makes taking chances easier: try unfamiliar food, buy that wild piece of art, or turn the dial on your personality up a couple notches—no regrets. Our hotel embraces an “I’m not home right now; please leave my 9-to-5 self a message” mentality. We were born for it. In Atlanta, a city full of type-A corporate hotels, we’re the odd duck dressed a little too loudly for the occasion. The lobby feels more like a local gallery than a business center, and the courtyard cocktail bar is essentially East Side Atlanta’s three-season living room. Our hotel is nestled in the epicenter of change—its creative, bold, globally cultured, ever-evolving East Side Old 4th Ward neighborhood. Choose your own adventure. With Ponce City Market two blocks away, punky Little Five Points nearby, catch a show at The Eastern, peek under the sea at the Georgia Aquarium, or let the kids play at Piedmont Park—all within three miles of our hotel. If you’d rather stay in, there’s plenty to do here too. Shoot for your next PR on our custom-designed Rogue Fitness equipment, cozy up around a crackling fire in the courtyard, or gather your team for a brainstorming session in The Canvas Room. When you’re ready to relax, your room is waiting.

As a former Atlanta resident I was worried about booking this hotel based on the location & former brand, but I couldn't be happier we decided to give it a try. The hotel is gorgeous-- definitely not just a paint job and logo change. The common space is design forward, warm and comfortable. The room was beautiful and thoughtfully appointed. The beds were amazing. Give it a try, you won't regret it.

Great location! The sink being outside of the bathroom is a weird design choice. Also, we asked for a King bed and got 2 Queens instead. They said it was a system issue and assured us we didn't overpay for the wrong room. The service was great and everything we wanted to see was only a few minutes away. Thanks!

Beautiful hotel, small rooms specially the entry level. Stayed in two different rooms in one stay and it’s night and day difference. The entry level doesn’t have a closed, just some hangs in the wall and no mini fridge as well.
But the critical party is… walls are super thin. Rooms in the ground floor are horrible because you listen steps from the room above… 2nd floor as well because water pipes are louddddd…
Service is a flip of a coin. Some of the employees are super friendly others close to be rude… location is a good place in between downtown and some great areas like piedmont park

We were pleasantly surprised with this hotel. The rooms were spacious and the employees were all so nice. The room did vibrate some 😆 Not sure what that was about or what caused it. It was also in good proximity to Ponce Market, where we went to see a show at City Winery.

I absolutely love the location and vibe of this unique hotel. The staff was great at check. The bartender was polite and attentive. The complimentary champagne was even quite pleasant and enjoyable. The room was nice. Lack of a closet was a tad upsetting but me a d my wife managed. What was disappointing was the noise level inches room. We were on the 3rd floor and could hear ever single footstep above us. Even the ambient noise outside was a bit annoying. I think that's why they so generously supplied us with a single pair of earplugs. I would definitely come back as I really like this place but would definitely request the top floor.
