With 100-ish rooms that are all a little different, voco The Darwin - Atlanta Midtown invites guests to empty their rucksacks and refill them with the heart and soul of Atlanta. Travel makes taking chances easier: try unfamiliar food, buy that wild piece of art, or turn the dial on your personality up a couple notches—no regrets. Our hotel embraces an “I’m not home right now; please leave my 9-to-5 self a message” mentality. We were born for it. In Atlanta, a city full of type-A corporate hotels, we’re the odd duck dressed a little too loudly for the occasion. The lobby feels more like a local gallery than a business center, and the courtyard cocktail bar is essentially East Side Atlanta’s three-season living room. Our hotel is nestled in the epicenter of change—its creative, bold, globally cultured, ever-evolving East Side Old 4th Ward neighborhood. Choose your own adventure. With Ponce City Market two blocks away, punky Little Five Points nearby, catch a show at The Eastern, peek under the sea at the Georgia Aquarium, or let the kids play at Piedmont Park—all within three miles of our hotel. If you’d rather stay in, there’s plenty to do here too. Shoot for your next PR on our custom-designed Rogue Fitness equipment, cozy up around a crackling fire in the courtyard, or gather your team for a brainstorming session in The Canvas Room. When you’re ready to relax, your room is waiting.

This hotel is great! The staff are friendly and the vibes are immaculate. It is nicely decorated and the rooms are some of the cleanest I have ever seen in a hotel. Took off one star for the rooms, however, because our room was a little tiny and the TV was positioned in a way that you couldn't really watch it from the bed, but it was completely fine. There are also no crazy hidden fees and parking on site/nearby for overflow. Will definitely be back!

Wonderful hotel especially loved the courtyard green space and being so close to Ponce. Gentleman at check in was very nice and accommodating. I will say the bar setting was not very inviting at times due to what looked like maybe the kitchen staff or other workers sitting, so I skipped that. Otherwise was a nice experience and would book again.

I very much enjoyed my time at The Darwin. The warm welcome I received from Marquetta when checking in was so nice. Taco Tuesday was a hit for dinner and the service I received at the bar from Yaas was impeccable. The hotel is in a convenient location to many Atlanta sites. Rooms were clean and comfortable. I enjoyed afternoons in the courtyard. I will be back!

We booked this last minute because we drove from NJ TO GEORGIA to bring my daughter to college. We were originally going to be driving right back home but it was raining so bad you couldn’t see in front of you. We arrived at midnight everyone from the security to front desk were some of the nicest people I have ever met even though it was midnight. The place is super hip and very clean. VANESSA at the front desk was the nicest person I have ever met. She was so sweet and accommodating. The greeted everyone who walked in truly making you feel welcome. At 630 the next morning she greeted me when I came to get a coffee like we were best friends really making you feel welcome. The rooms had real amenities hand steamer, real shampoo and conditioner, hand soap and lotion. Even had ear plugs since it is in a busy area. The room was really clean and comfortable. Definitely can’t wait to come back.

We booked Hotel Darwin through a third party booking site so I’m not sure how the rates compare normally, but even at double what we have paid for other boutique hotels in the area, the level of service was exceptional and unmatched. Efrain who checked us in was friendly, professional, kind and it was clear that he is seasoned in the hospitality industry- Hotel Darwin is lucky to have him. Marquetta checked us out, gave us cute stickers, and Vee gave us our complimentary drinks. I cannot express enough how impressed I was with this staff and how much they made a difference in our stay. This will definitely be our first choice next time we stay in Atlanta. Aside from the service- the hotel is clean, has a great aesthetic, and unexpected outdoor lounge space with fire tables, and gorgeous lobby bathrooms.
