A great location & an excellent hotel with awesome decor and well-thought out facilities. However, this hotel's greatest asset is its staff. My experience was superb & beyond my expectations. From my initial interaction with Enoch & the valet team... to my check-in with Michelle & the front desk concierge ... to breakfasts with Nicole & the kitchen crew - EVERY interaction with ALL staff was giving positive vibes & energy. In addition to a raise/ bonus - I suggest giving them shares in the business..... I mean, they already treat it like it was their own 🤷🏾‍♂️. Well done team - we will definitely be back!!!🖤

My experience at the hotel was ok until post-checkout. They take a security deposit of 100 dollars upon check-in which is understandable. The problem is that I have contacted the hotel 3 days ago now by email to enquire about my deposit that has not been refunded yet although I checked out on Sunday Morning. I still did not get any answer which is unacceptable. Contacted them on their social media page as well and surprise, no answer as well. Be careful with your deposits and make sure to insist during check out at the reception for it to be released on the spot. I definitely should have done that.

My wife and I stayed at The Starling Midtown for our anniversary, and unfortunately the experience was very disappointing. From the start, we had to wait about 10 minutes at check-in for a manager to come unlock the room, even though both we and the hotel had already confirmed the reservation. Once inside, the TV didn’t work, and even after reporting it on the day we arrived, no one ever came to fix it. The fridge also wasn’t cold at all, so the $150 worth of room service food we ordered had to be thrown away. On top of that, the billing felt misleading, and there was zero communication about parking options if we didn’t want valet. For an anniversary trip, the lack of basic amenities and the lack of any apology or offer to make things right from the hotel itself was extremely disappointing. The only reasons we gave two stars were the decor and breakfast. We won’t be returning. However, thank you to Hilton corporate for stepping in and making it right by offering us a free night, since the hotel never offered any compensation.

I love everything about this hotel. I have started staying at the Hilton Curio collection of hotels. While this hotel is large it has a boutique feel. What I enjoyed the most is the artwork. The art in the hallways and rooms are joyous. The elevators are wallpapered to make you feel like you have entered a secret garden. I have severe allergies and the Hilton is always able to provide me with a fragrance free experience. You need to call at least the day before to make sure housekeeping prepares a room for you. The first room had fragrances and the staff quickly rectified this. Lastly, the location is perfect. It is in the middle of bustling Midtown. Quick access to museums and world class restaurants. There is also a food court and Starbucks inside the hotel. For me, they hit every note, perfectly.

I recently stayed at The Starling Atlanta Midtown, Curio Collection by Hilton, and it was honestly one of the most disappointing Hilton experiences I’ve had — especially as a Diamond member who travels almost every week for work and leisure. When I checked in, I asked the front desk about a room upgrade (which I usually receive as a Diamond member). I was told no upgrades were available because I had already chosen my room. However, when I checked the Hilton app, I saw plenty of upgraded rooms available at that exact time — very frustrating, but I didn’t argue. That night, I couldn’t sleep because the room above mine (I was on the 21st floor) had constant noise and banging until after 1 a.m., then again early in the morning. I had to request a room change the next day. Later, I asked the front desk for housekeeping service to refresh the new room and change the sheets. When I came back around 11 p.m., they had only cleaned the restroom — trash wasn’t emptied, no water was provided, and the sheets hadn’t been changed. To make things worse, I found hair on the bed and even my dental retainers on the floor. I reported all this to the front desk, and they told me a housekeeping manager would call me, but no one ever followed up, even though the hotel texted saying a manager would reach out. On top of that, one morning I requested my car from the valet and had to wait 35 minutes for it to show up, which caused me to be late and affected my work schedule. For a Hilton Curio Collection property, this experience was far below expectations — from the lack of professionalism to the poor housekeeping, long valet delays, and zero follow-up. Definitely not the level of service I expect from Hilton.
