I'm terrible with names, but a big shout out to Kadema(?) at the front desk for making my stay so wonderful, I extended it twice! Everyone at this hotel is focused on service. Each experience I had from valet, bell service, front desk, the bar, and housekeeping was outstanding. My room was extremely clean and serviced every day. The architecture and history of this building is worth stopping in just to see. Can't wait to see you all again soon!

Overall it is a nice hotel but there’s room for improvement. Probably wouldn’t stay again. Pros: Front desk staff was cool. Very friendly and polite. Same for the housekeepers and the afternoon/evening valet crew. Our waitress, Angie, she was great. 10/10 very nice and attentive. Kudos to her. Went to the bar the next day, the bartenders were great, very friendly (wish I could remember their names for the shoutout). Cons: The host in the restaurant needs improvement or replacement. He lacks personality and made things feel weird. I don’t want to use the race card, especially when most of the employees throughout the hotel are people of color, but you could definitely see the difference in treatment. One example with the host at the restaurant, when I asked for a simple cup of coffee he directed me to the unmanaged bar. That i had to sit and wait for a waitress to ask if I needed help. This would have been fine if it were standard practice but a white guy came in not much longer and asked for a cup of coffee, the host rushed to make his. Strange. Another example, the morning valet: there was a line to provide your ticket to the attendants so they’ll get your car. Multiple times did they ignore my family and go to the non-Black people in line. Again, strange! It’s almost as if the employees, although they are people of color, don’t want other people of color staying there. Lastly, they rip you off with your Amex and Hilton Honors credit. Other Hilton properties I’ve stayed in and received both credits allow the credits from Amex and Hilton to be used, almost like double credit. Not here. I even called to have my Hilton credits added AFTER my Amex credits ran out (which is what they claim to be the policy), I was unable to get my credits. Oh and the valet supervisor told my wife he’d take care of our valet charge for the day of the disrespect and mistreatment, didn’t do that either. Wonderful hotel in Atlanta, the decoration is really amazing. I had the chance to be upgraded to a one-bedroom suite with a large bathroom and a nice view of Atlanta. The restaurant for breakfast and dinner was a great place and the people working there were very professional. Only disappointment was the broken rower in the fitness room (which was nice). I hope it can be fixed soon.

Extremely disappointed with our stay. We arrived and the bell staff acted like they were afraid to touch our bags, very awkward and unwelcoming. Check-in was rushed; no one explained anything besides our room number. I had called a day before, letting them know we were coming from Wisconsin for an awards banquet that started at 4pm and asked if we could check in just 30 minutes to an hour early since it was also our 12-year wedding anniversary, also emailed. No one ever replied. When I called again the next day, they said they couldn’t accommodate us. In over a decade of celebrating our anniversary at hotels, we’ve always been offered at least a room upgrade option, wine upon arrival, or a chance to pay for add-ons. This hotel offered none of that. It felt cold and corporate, not warm or luxury. The best thing about the room was the bathroom. The pillows were absolutely terrible, flat within minutes and the bed was just okay. To be honest, a stay at Comfort Suites probably would have been better. I even paid $59 for the breakfast add-on but was still charged again at checkout. Overall, this stay completely ruined what should have been a special evening. Hotel is very mid like a budget hotel.

Service has been really disappointing, I honestly wish I never came here. There was no shower cap in the room, and when I called the front desk, it took forever for them to bring one up even though the hotel wasn’t busy. Such a simple request, and they couldn’t handle it efficiently. We mentioned multiple times that we had just gotten married, and not once did anyone acknowledge it during check-in or our stay. Overall, a letdown. Would not recommend coming here.
