  We visited back in December to celebrate our engagement and Maleeha made it extra special. She upgraded our room and made sure we had the perfect experience and was extremely helpful about things to do in the area. She checked in with us constantly about how we were doing and if we needed anything during our visit. If I’m back in Atlanta I know where I’m going to stay from now on, and it’s 100% because of how great the staff is.

  I had a wonderful stay at the American Hotel in downtown Atlanta. The location is perfect, close to restaurants, attractions, and easy to get around the city. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. What really made my experience stand out was the exceptional service at the front desk. Maleena was absolutely fantastic, friendly, professional, and very helpful with all my questions and requests. She truly made me feel welcome. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Atlanta, and I will be back!

  Wow, I can’t say enough wonderful things about the American Hotel. Myself and my team stayed here for a work conference, and the ENTIRE staff was amazing - especially Maleeah, Daeshawn, Eric, and Lawrence. I can’t thank you all enough for the hospitality and excellent service. This hotel is in the perfect walking distance from the Georgia conference center, extremely well-staffed, and excellent character.

  We stayed here in October 2025 and this hotel was exceptional! There was a hiccup with our reservations (our fault) and Maleeha was so kind and patient while we got things straightened out! She gave us great advice on things to do in the area, made sure we could find our way around, and was just a delight to work with! The room was beautifully appointed, clean, and so very comfortable! Everyone we encountered at this hotel was very friendly and offered assistance. There were also delicious egg rolls and wine being offered in the lobby!

  What are fantastic stay! From the moment I arrived I was greeted by the wonderful staff and enjoyed talking to them. I loved my room, had a balcony with a view of The Park and Ferris wheel. The room was clean and very comfortable, and well appointed. The cable TV could have had more options but not a deal-breaker. It was off season for swimming so I didn't get a chance to check out the pool area. All of the common areas were comfortable and had some really cool memorabilia. Everybody I interacted with at this hotel was fantastic. I would say their little market is definitely expensive. $5 for a bottle of Coke or a candy bar. You can walk around the corner 100-ft to the convenience store and get one for a little more than half the price and a much bigger selection of items. The location couldn't be better. I will definitely stay again next time I'm in town!
