  The room was clean. The staff for the hotel were mostly pleasant. Do not I repeat do not go into that dirty nasty restaurant. The restaurant was dirty. There was no staff to be found and when I reported it to the manager, they let the cook come out and get in my face because I didn’t Look for a clean table or get the cook out of the kitchen to give me service. The cook is more interested in sitting at the bar visiting than doing his job.

  Room was VERY small and walls seemed like they were made of paper. Heard neighbor's conversations all day, flushing of toilet and shower running. No parking arrangements so had no choice except to use the overcharged valet service! Reception desk was backed up every time I went past! Restaurant was shut down so staff could be off, so there was nothing for guests to eat.

  $25 per day for self parking and $50 Per day for valet parking on top of your stay is terrible. Soon as I arrived my comforter had big red stain on it looked like female period blood stain disgusting

  Origin Atlanta truly redefines Southern hospitality. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel like family, warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive. The Social Capitol restaurant was a highlight with amazing food especially the breakfast (get the pancakes), and the lobby’s late-night snacks and drinks were such a thoughtful touch. Dana, J, Tracy, Chef, and team were all a delight!! I truly mean this. My room was very clean, modern, and comfortable (Room 620 is a gem!), and even being downtown, I always felt safe and at ease. While the shower pressure could have been stronger, the rain-shower design still made for a relaxing experience and I highly recommend. This stay felt less like a hotel and more like home. If you’re visiting Atlanta or planning a staycation, Origin Atlanta is a must and I can't wait to come back again and again 10/10 experience.

  The hotel is awesome. Great looking public spaces and rooms. Love the brick walls and the modern design of the room. Bed is very comfortable and the bathroom is great including the water pressure. Cool vanity and towel rack. Staff is exceptionally friendly and efficient and insisted on moving me to another room when a hiccup occurred. Enjoyed my burger very much in the attached restaurant. The location is convenient to both the 5-Points and Garnett MARTA stations as I wanted to rely on public transportation. Just know the location, even though 2 blocks from the capitol, is up and coming. But there's a serious revitalization going on including roadways and buildings being fixed up and a lot of money being spent. Thus there isn’t a lot to choose from F&B wise close by right now but there is a new locally owned coffee shop to walk to 4 blocks away along with some other new dining choices on that block. And there is a long-time diner just next door for a good cheap breakfast or lunch. The neighborhood is fine and actually fun to walk around during the day to see the change. Not a place to walk around at night yet.
