When we got there we were told to make a Lego figure but we couldn’t keep it??? When we tried to take a family photo it was so zoomed in it could only fit two people that were tall even though this is a child’s place On the train ride the guns don’t work for the on screen monsters Only 2! Out of the 6! Headsets worked for the vr Lego rollercoaster The 4d movie did not offer 3d glasses??? And the water and theatre was DISGUSTING And the people out of my family who didn’t want to get wet were told to go to the edge to stay completely dry but got soaked After we filed a complaint we got ONE ticket refund and 4 free tickets that were obviously not gonna use When we spoke to a manager named Gina Smith she told us we should have CALLED THEM BEFORE HAND TO SEE IF EVERYTHING WAS WORKING??? Over all 1 out of 5 stars I wish I could say zero stars but do not buy tickets to here as a present or for yourself

This was VERY disappointing especially for the price!!! I wouldn’t go again for free though. My family of 7 went on a Saturday and we were so let down. It is dirty, nothing works, and it is super boring for the price. You don’t get to take home anything that you build there. There were only 2 out of 6 VR headsets working. There were no glasses provided to watch the 4D movie. The water the spray on you in the 4D movie smells terrible. The photo experience is so zoomed in you can’t take a picture of more than two people at a time and you can only get a face picture. I could go on and on.

Rip-off experience. The exhibits and upcharge add-on features were absolute duds and not worth it. The “digital photo” add-on used what appeared to be a 20 year old camera with terrible resolution; it used the same photo for everything. The VR was a one time ticketed ride that all 3 of my kids said was just mediocre at best. The ride through exhibit was awful, only one car running and the effects/features were poorly designed and executed, they had two broken down cars shoved in the corner of the ride through. The 4-D theatre movie malfunctioned and was sub-optimal, spray was too much and the visual effects were broken. The Master Builder staff was great and seemed to really enjoy their jobs. The play area was okay but for what we paid to get in, seemed like a real ripoff. The entire operation needs to be shut down and renovated to bring up to today’s standards. It may have been a decent place 20 years ago. I expected so much more from Lego and the price of admission.

Save your $35 admission each and buy your kid a $70 Lego set. The Kingdom Conquest ride had one vehicle working which took 5 minutes per group to ride, so a line of 4 families would be 20 minute wait. The ride itself need refreshed: the projection lamps all need replaced because the video on the screens was dull, two of the laser guns on the vehicle didn't work. The 4D movie theater needs refurbished, the seats are a wreck, the 3-D glasses do not work (and I tried 3 pairs) and again, the video screen was very dull in color (projection lamp needs replaced). The building sections lacked enough pieces to build anything worth building. They have a cool build-a-race car section with ramp courses, but the pieces given are so limited that you can't build a car that can complete any of the courses. Nothing good about this tourist trap.

This review is not intended maliciously, though I would have been livid if I had paid full price. I think the manager needs to bring some kids in their family that haven't been to see it the way customers do. It's embarrassing. You go in and make a minifig you don't get to keep. Immediately, you encounter the big broken photo booth, then the minifig photo booth (the only thing to even do with those things that you have to help your child keep up with), and it's disgusting and won't even hold up the minifig because it's too dirty or worn [pictured]. The next thing is the laser ride. 25% of the targets do not respond to the laser. A small child isn't going to understand this and try another target. They're going to keep shooting the same target saying, "Why isn't this working?" and wonder why they ended up with a score of 700. Also, the screens are too dim. After that, there's the VR ride. The kids really enjoyed it, but the duplo desk inside is covered in grime with a layer of hairy dust. The Atlanta model is underwhelming, and half of the buttons don't work. There was a window in there to see a master builder, and he did have some cool stuff, though he was gone probably doing a class when we passed through. The next thing is a huge room which contains the food area (did not use), baby area (did not use), area to make a car and ramp it, make a rocket and fly it (digitally), playground, and movie theater. The kids loved making a car and ramping it. The real legos in this area didn't look that dirty, though if it's because they're cleaned or the dirt gets polished off by all the fingers, I don't know. The ground of the playground was dirty [pictured], and the big rubbery lego blocks were grimy [pictured]. Next, we watched one of the movies, fifteen-minutes with little to it, though my kids liked it. It's just a vehicle for delivering the "4D" stuff. They spray you with water (too much and smells funky. Safe to breathe?). The bubbles didn't work. The fans were good, mostly because they helped dry the water. The seats are cracked and dirty. Lights flashed randomly, distracting rather than adding to the experience. After that, we did the rockets. You build one and put it in a scanner, which creates an image that you can fly around the screen, "discovering" planets and blasting targets. The game is fun, but fewer than half of the stations worked [the entire half pictured is broken, plus more broken on the other side], so there weren't enough stations. The family restroom was clean. The store had fun things and prices were not more than other places [sticker on the bottom, not on the shelf]. The slots where the cups were supposed to be for loose legos were empty and dirty, indicating they never take the time to stock them, even though the cashier was just standing there. Basically, it seems that zero percent of the high regular ticket price is going into maintenance, and none of the employees, while they were courteous, think it's their job to clean anything ever. It wasn't busy when we went, and there were employees just standing around. Yet, the cashier didn't even take a few steps over with a rag to clean the dusty cup slots? One of the people manning the empty laser ride couldn't step over and clean the minifig photo booth right next to them? I used to work retail. This is not an unusual expectation. The place reflects poorly on Atlanta and the Lego brand name. You see the responses to the reviews. They know but change nothing. Supposedly they had a 5 million dollar renovation just like 2 or 3 years ago, but it doesn't look like it. This place is run by people who simply DO NOT CARE... which is extra sad because it's for kids. We are not rich people and could afford to come as a birthday present for my daughter. But they just do not care if your kid's birthday is like Krabby Land from Spongebob (iykyk). Thankfully, my daughter is young enough not to notice a lot of that stuff and still had fun, but she said on the ride home she would have had just as much fun at the local minigolf.
