Welcome to the Holiday Inn Express Atlanta Downtown, just 3 blocks from the MARTA Peachtree Center Station.
Our historic hotel was originally built in 1890. Some of the original architecture remains, including the exterior and layouts of some of our smaller room types.
Our accommodations also offer free Wi-Fi and free hot breakfast buffet daily. Maintain your workout routine at our expanded 24-hour Fitness Center. Each room is equipped with a microwave, mini-refrigerator, Keurig, and flat screen TV. Note that valet parking (NOT accepting Trucks) is $40/day and there is no self parking available.
Given our downtown location, we are easily accessible to all the favorites like the Georgia Aquarium, Georgia World Congress Center, Mercedes-Benz Stadium, State Farm Arena, Centennial Olympic Park, and the Tabernacle. After visiting approximately seven or eight different hotels and facing refusals, I was finally allowed to settle in. They conducted the check-in process with professionalism, making it seamless and straightforward, which greatly helped me as I tried to make myself comfortable in my small yet inviting room.
- IJIvana JaraJan 4, 20261.0PÉSIMO, el peor hotel, no tienen suficientes habitaciones, reserve para 4 y me dieron una habitation con sofa cama, y no me dieron sábanas para el sofá cama solo una cobija, la persona de aseo fue y tendió la cama pero no organizó el sofá cama y dejó solo dos toallas cuando somos 4 y una de ellas sucia, no hay agua caliente y vinimos en invierno, nos hospedaron en el piso donde están haciendo obra y por lo tanto hay maestros todo el Tiempo y mucho polvo, no teníamos línea en el teléfono para comunicarnos con recepción así que si necesitábamos algo debíamos bajar siempre! Dijeron que nos cambiarían de alcoba jamás lo hicieron! Pésimo servicio! Pésimo pesimooooo, por cierto el Que dirige la obra no debería recibir los trabajos todo absolutamente todo lo que instalan está torcido empezando por el sanitario que está muy mal con las Piernas hacia la pared!!! Perdón pero son todas mis apreciaciones a tan mala experiencia
- RSRanger ShiJan 4, 20265.0One of my favorite stay in vacation. Location is so close to Marta station. The nearest Marta exit is just besides Ellis St. for 4 mins walk. From this hotel, turn right on Cone st. then turn Right on Carnegie then turn left to Ellis to walk one block. You'll see Marta on your left. Service is great, there're always multiple staffs at front desk. I arrived early before 2pm and they are able to find a room for me. The corner room 533 is quiet and spacious like a studio with 2 bathrooms. I don't hear any noise at night being a light sleeper. At night, there maybe beggars outside the door but if they tried to enter, front staff will firmly ask them to leave. There's hot water/coffee 24 hours. Breakfast is above average with varieties in turn. I got sausage links and turkey Pattie one day, bacon and egg omelets on another day. The cereal has unsweetened choices. hot oatmeal and sliced bread is always available. I got small ignorable issue like Internet hard to login and shower stream a bit weak but not a big deal. In all, it offers great value for the money. Last deal: Georgia Aquarium anytime tickets on sale here for $55 only.
- BSBriana StearmanJan 2, 20264.0We had an overall amazing experience! The only reason it is 4 stars is because it gets super loud at night & you can hear EVERYTHING going on outside. The power in our room also randomly would cut out then turn back on (the fridge, microwave, and tv). The breakfast was good, its what you'd expect from a hotel. The room was clean, although pretty small. An important note, as travelers not used to the area, it is a nice area to walk around in and it is located within walking distance to the Aquarium. But, once the sun sets, uber if you have to go out because it gets rather sketchy at night.

I only found out when I went into my account and saw the cancelation. When I contacted customer service, I was told the hotel realized they'd oversold and that I would be getting an email from the hotel manager soon. (I still haven't received anything.) They then tried to book me into another hotel for double the rate of the original reservation. Terrible service. I will be avoiding this chain in future.
