The Hilton Garden Inn Atlanta Downtown is a solid choice if you’re staying in the heart of the city. The location is excellent—walkable to major attractions like Centennial Olympic Park, the aquarium, and downtown dining, which makes getting around easy.
The hotel itself is clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The rooms are spacious enough, the beds are comfortable, and everything feels dependable and functional, which is exactly what you expect from a Hilton Garden Inn. Common areas are nice and welcoming, even if they’re not particularly flashy.
Service was consistently good during my stay—professional and helpful without being overly formal. While it doesn’t feel like a luxury property, it does a lot of things right and delivers a smooth, reliable experience.
Overall, this is a better‑than‑average downtown hotel with a great location and solid value. I’d happily stay here again when visiting Atlanta.

Overall really like this hotel, no problems and everything is clean. However it’s pretty annoying paying $42 dollars a night for parking, but whatever because it’s next to the hotel and everywhere else is expensive too. My biggest issue is that it’s $18 for a basic hotel buffet breakfast. Just because they put real plates on cloth wrapped tables does not justify any of it. You can’t even make yourself waffles or pancakes. You’re better off getting food elsewhere.

I lived right above the dining room. It's a shame that cockroaches lived there with me too. The general manager promised Hilton points for this, but I never received anything. nothing happened after contacting the hilton support too. is it really hilton?

Hotel was perfect for a quick trip to the aquarium as it’s the closest to the front entrance and right behind it is some of the best restaurants and places to visit .
Parking garage can be self parking or pay for valet if you want that option
No room service but they do have breakfast on the 4th floor
Overall a good option and place to stay
