I went to this hotel for a Career Event hosted by APPA. I had to drive our company vehicle which is Ford Transit Cargo Van that sits right around 10ft tall. The vehicle I was driving could not fit in the Parking garage because it only had a 6ft clearance. I asked Jamel in Valet where I can park since the parking garage could not host my vehicle. He told me to park on the other side of breeze way behind 2 other government vehicles (as you can see on your security cameras). No other option was presented or given to park the cargo van. As I am ready to leave and I go to valet to ask about my van the lady (don’t remember her name) told me that it would be $45 for time I stayed for the event. I asked her if I can speak to her manger to see if the rate could be discounted or prorated considering my vehicle could not fit in the parking garage. She got her Manager Thomas and he did not provide any real assistance or possible ideas to help the situation. I told him that I don’t mind paying for parking, but requested if I could get $10 off since there were no places for me to park or options given. His lack of customer service and communication was well below par and needs to be elevated as he is in a “leadership role” at the Hilton hotel. All this could have been avoided with a better attitude, $10 off credit, and educating me (the paying customer) other options to park the over size vehicle I was driving. Disappointed and would not recommend.
We had such a wonderful stay at Hilton. From the moment we arrived, the staff was welcoming, professional, and incredibly accommodating. The property was clean, comfortable, and perfectly located — which made everything seamless for our busy weekend.
What really stood out was the level of hospitality. The team went above and beyond to make sure our family felt taken care of, and those thoughtful touches truly made a difference. The rooms were spacious, the common areas were beautiful, and everything felt easy and stress-free. It’s a short walk to the aquarium the convention center and Coke world. Plus, our views were great and Trader Vic’s for dinner was on point!
We’re so grateful for the experience and would absolutely stay again. Thank you for such a memorable visit!

You gotta rate these things for what they are, not what you wish they were.
For a Hilton, the rooms are very nice, cleaner than most, and quieter than most. If you pay for the view, it's a fantastic one (see pic).
Objectively, on an absolute scale, the service was absolutely top-notch. The line for check-in was long when we got here. Like, 30-minutes-at-a-Hampton-Inn long. I was out of that line in under five. The gentleman at the desk laid everything out in record time, asked all the right questions, and got me my keys and out of line without missing a beat or modicum of info I needed.
As for the location...it's downtown Atlanta. It gets more worrisome at night, but is relatively pleasant during the day. Atlanta is actually the worst thing about this hotel, and they can't help it, but they still made it bearable.
Warning...this is a long and detailed post...
I've stayed at Hilton hotels because of the cleanliness, service, etc., however, this most recent stay just might have me rethink booking with them.
Check-in was easy, the staff was very friendly, warm, and welcoming. The layout of the lobby of the hotel is beautiful!! When my husband, teen daughter, and I walked in the room# 644, the first thing we noticed were the small beds and how small the room was in general. This was not a nice size room that should have been able to accommodate 4 people (per the description when booked on Expedia). We still unpacked and was getting ready to chill for the night because of our long travel day. When I went into the bathroom, the toilet wouldn't flush at first but eventually did. Then, I went to turn on the shower and water begin to come from the wall of the shower head.
All 3 of us went downstairs to the desk to let them know our problem. The staff member behind the counter, listened to our concern and asked for my ID, which of course I didn't think to bring with me, so my family stayed downstairs and I went back up to get my ID. My daughter called me and told me to stay where I was because they were moving us to another room, room#641. Once we moved into that room, that room was bigger than the one we had previously.
As we are transferring our items from one room to another, I went to hang our coats up and at the top of the closet on the shelf, there were some grey mens underwear and behind the toilet was dirty. You can't help but to see behind there because of how the shower is situated.
My family and I went to the aquarium, which I recommend going when in ATL. Anyway, after our outing, we were parking in the garage, a man appeared from behind some cars. He didn't see my husband in our vehicle at first, maybe because I was driving, so he walked across to the other set of cars by the elevator, which I'm assuming he was watching me because he had a very clear shot of me getting out. Once he saw my husband, he started walking away, saying curse words. We tried to warn everyone we seen as we were getting on the elevator. My husband did go to the front desk to let them know what was going on and they said they would send someone down there to check it out. I can't say they did or didn't but I can say we seen this man at least two more times, and on our last day at 7:30a.
Yes, I did go to the front desk to tell them about the underwear, the running toilet from room 641 and yes, I was given a credit of $50 for our "troubles" but Hilton Atlanta, for this hotel to be so beautiful and to have that skywalk to connect to the other hotels, I was very disappointed and did not get any rest while staying that this hotel. Also, this is in a good location but if you're going to the aquarium or Coca-Cola, you will have to Uber or drive.
My best friend and her daughter stayed on the 11th floor and her room and bed sizes were the same size as ours (room 641) and her toilet ran all night as well.
This was not a lengthy researched booking. I was in a rush and trusted that Hilton would provide what I would need while I was there. Had I paid what they wanted to charge me directly, I would be even less satisfied. As it stands, paying $440 for 3 nights (including the outrageous $40/night parking charge) via a third party site isn't the best value for what you get. While what I was looking for, a comfortable bed and clean room were provided adequately, almost everything else, aside from the customer service, needs improvement.
The lobby when you first walk in either smelled like weed, or food. A far cry from the enchanting smells at other upscale hotels that pipe in fragrance to set a mood of calm and tranquility. One would think spending $40/night for parking meant an elevator from the garage directly to whichever floor you are on, however, not only are you out more money, you're even more inconvenienced, as you have to take two elevators instead of just one, and they aren't close to each other, making for a longer trek after an already exhausting day. There are also no visible EV charging areas, even though I was told there was before booking.
Once you're on the elevator to your room, the noises and flickering lights make you think you might get stuck before reaching your floor. Not something that someone like me, who hates elevators, wants to experience. The room and bathroom were clean, and the beds were comfortable, however the technology is lacking, as the TV's are old and don't have any access to streaming apps or casting from other devices, and the remote was sticky. Thankfully I was prepared and brought my iPad, but again, why should I have to do this in 2026??
The bathroom was smaller than I've seen in smaller chain hotels and while clean, needed some updating. The vent in the shower was dirty and the water temperature couldn't seem to be easily regulated, as it cycled through cold, scalding hot, and barely tepid, without any change to the dial. The showerhead was mounted at an angle that made the water spray awkwardly, and there wasn't enough room in the tub to position comfortably. Furthermore, it didn't seem as though adjusting the air conditioning did anything to actually cool the room, it just ran the fan (and very loudly).
I alerted the front desk of these issues at checkout, and they kindly refunded me my marketplace charges, which was a nice gesture, but it didn't solve the issues, most of which are systemic throughout the hotel. While I was there, there were functions taking place that flooded the lobby and surrounding areas with people. This made getting on the elevator delayed at times. Also, when I ordered UberEats, they won't allow the delivery person to go to your room, so if you're nice and comfy in bed, prepare to have to make the long trek down to retrieve your food.
As a brand whose slogan is "For The Stay", there's not much at this specific location that inspires me to want to again.
