On my way to work, I stopped into their bathroom to re-adjust my hair extensions. The manager comes in and when she came in, I didn’t know who she was. She didn’t look like a manager. I thought she was homeless and had mental health issues. She started FALSELY accusing me of taking a “bird bath”. Stating that she sees me in the bathroom every morning. I ignored her at first because I just knew she wasn’t talking to me. So I finally addressed her. I told her I’ve never been in there before. I asked her why she was being so rude to me. I said, ma’am this is totally false accusation. I’m an educated woman, I’m not who you think I am. Mind you, the ENTIRE time, she’s being combative, aggressive and yelling at me. It was only God that I remained calm. Then I guess she noticed my corporate attire (I’m in leadership in the education system). She then yelled at me asking me about my room number. She went to go get another work associate to see that I was in the bathroom. However, she grabbed a male work associate. He can’t come into the women’s bathroom so that was odd. He didn’t say anything just looked at both of us. I informed him what I was doing. Then he stated that they didn’t have to be nice to me. I can see if I was eating some of the breakfast or something but nothing like that happened. Everyone pulls over into a bathroom to fix something…their hair or lipstick. It’s normal. I wasn’t in their getting dressed or anything. I would never! She was loud and VERY wrong. The way she treated me was awful. Clearly there’s a homeless problem that they’re dealing with but her and that young man need some serious help.

I stayed at the Hampton Inn for a business trip and a quick family getaway. My overall experience wasn’t the best, but I want to recognize Dawn, the Front Desk Supervisor, for her outstanding professionalism. She went above and beyond to ensure my family and I were completely satisfied and personally resolved our issue; she truly represents what great customer service should look like.
However, I was shocked that Elijah works for Hilton. His attitude was extremely rude and unprofessional on multiple occasions: the complete opposite of what I’d expect from a hospitality brand like Hilton. After reading other reviews, it seems his behavior isn’t an isolated incident, which is disappointing.

One of the cleanest hotels we’ve ever stayed at, BUT that’s where the positives stop. We booked specifically for the heated pool, which turned out to be broken and unheated (68°F) — nowhere was this mentioned, making it unusable and very disappointing for our child. The 2nd floor hallway was freezing cold, easily near 50°F, with the A/C blasting nonstop. (And we aren’t people to complain about temperature but that was ridiculous) Then at 6 AM, the front desk called to tell us our key was deactivated after they’d mistakenly checked us out at 4 AM — waking up our whole family in the process. They then tried to enter our room at 9am while we were in there. They apologized but still shouldn’t have happened. As Diamond members, we were also surprised that the only welcome options were a Diet Coke and dried cranberries. The hotel was spotless, but the rest of the experience really missed the mark.

Classic Hampton Inn: Decent rooms, decent breakfast, decent location across from the mall and down the road from MARTA. It’s not a luxury hotel, but it’s clean, safe, comfortable, and quiet. It’s also pet friendly, but you’d never know if from how clean they keep the whole hotel.
Ian at the front desk at night is amazing. Great customer service every night of our stay. He made us feel welcome and quickly tended to our needs and requests. I strongly recommend this hotel to anyone needing to stay in the area around the mall or in Dunwoody in general.
