This hotel and its furniture are clearly aged, but I found it charming. I had a two queen suite with minibar. There was no refrigerator. The space between each of the queen beds and the wall was laughable - we just climbed up from the foot of the bed instead of try to shimmy along sideways to get in and out of bed. Desk staff were friendly and accommodating. Breakfast staff were kind and helpful - when the waffle batter ran out, they were fast to provide more. There was plenty of seating in the breakfast area, and I didn't feel rushed or crowded. The street noise wasn't too bad on the sixth floor, and the view was good, though the windows could stand to be washed on the outside for a better view. But most of all, the location was perfect for attending a concert at The Tabernackle.

From the moment my wife and I walked through the doors, Henry, the night auditor, set the tone for an exceptional stay. His greeting alone made us feel instantly welcomed — warm, genuine, and professional in every way. He didn’t just check us in; he made sure every detail of our arrival and stay was seamless from start to finish. As the CFO of a company that frequently books travel and corporate lodging, I can confidently say that Henry’s level of service is rare. He embodies what true hospitality looks like — attentive without being overbearing, kind yet efficient, and always two steps ahead in anticipating what guests need. From the first “hello” to the moment we laid our heads down, Henry made sure our experience was nothing short of excellent. Because of Henry, Hampton Inn Atlanta will now be our go-to recommendation for all corporate events and employee travel. He left a lasting impression not just as an employee, but as a professional who represents the brand with excellence and heart. Whoever hired Henry deserves recognition as well — they clearly have an eye for outstanding talent. Henry should absolutely be training others in customer service, professionalism, and the art of growing from within. Fantastic job, Hampton Inn Atlanta! You’ve got a true gem on your team.

Guest Review for Henry – A true Asset We are rewards members and have never had such service like this!!! During our stay, I had the pleasure of interacting with Henry, the night auditor, and I have to say he is truly an asset to this company. From the moment I arrived, Henry went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of. His professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail stood out immediately. He greeted me with genuine warmth, handled every request with patience, and made sure we felt completely at ease. Even late at night, he carried himself with such calm confidence and care that it was clear he takes great pride in his work. It’s rare to meet someone who not only does their job well but also makes guests feel genuinely valued — Henry does exactly that. His exceptional service reflects positively on the entire company, and it’s employees like him who make guests want to return. Henry is outstanding, and the company is truly fortunate to have him on the team. Wish we could hire him as manager for our company, lol! Just kidding 🤭 Good Job Hampton!

The hotel is not perfect, but fine for what it is. The ladies at the front desk are nice, and breakfast is ok. The rooms get a lot of noise from the street, and they could be modernised a bit. There was a 30-minute delay at breakfast which made me miss a meeting. Decent choice in downtown Atlanta, for sure

I booked this hotel for a conference, from a Saturday to a Tuesday. On Saturday afternoon at around 7pm a very loud party was taking place in the hotel's lobby, which I did not know would happen. I asked the receptionist until when it would go on for to which she answered until 11:30 or 12. I got the change of room, but was treated as if I was being a Karen with completely unreasonable requests. The room I was originally at was at the 3rd floor and closest to the party in location. I got moved to the 8th floor which is definitely a benefit, but the closest to the party again. I don't think this was a coincidence.
