  I’m always super skeptical when staying in Atlanta close to the airport. This is why I wanted to leave a review for the common person. I did online check in so my room was assigned and ready at 4:30 pm. I didn’t arrive until 7:00. I was greeted in the lobby but went right to my room. The room is super clean with clean sheets and the bathroom is super clean. Not sure what the expectations of some are but this place is just as clean as my home. Paint is nice on the walls. No mold or mildew in the bathroom. Plenty of clean towels for the shower. In room fridge and big screen TV. I’ve stayed at a lot of hotels in the Atlanta metro area, in particular the airport area, and this is by far the best. Parking is great. I am in a truck so I took all my valuables with me but do not anticipate any issues. Atlanta PD is sitting in the median close by and is patrolling the hotels. I will be staying here when I fly out of Atlanta for the next vacation. Unless you have unreasonable expectations, I would highly suggest you book at this location!

  Perfect hotel if you’re stuck at the airport overnight. Had an unexpected delay at ATL and this was exactly what I needed. Very close to the airport, easy shuttle, quick check-in, and a clean, comfortable room. Quiet enough to get real sleep before an early flight, and the breakfast was a nice bonus. Would definitely stay here again.

  This place saved my birthday weekend. My boyfriend and I came to Atlanta hoping for an easy-going weekend at the Georgia Aquarium and World of Coca-Cola. We originally booked a nearby airbnb that was awfully disgusting, and we were surely not staying there. In need of a last minute place to stay, a very nice lady at the front desk, and another associate we were transferred to, were extremely caring and accommodating to our situation compared to other hotels we reached out to that couldn’t do the same.   We stayed here while in town for a competition and experienced a serious safety issue that should not happen at any hotel. The room assigned to us had a door that did not lock properly. When we reported it, the front desk mentioned it had previously been “fixed.” I recorded a video and showed staff that the door could still be opened. This means the issue was known but not properly verified before assigning the room. We were not able to be moved that evening and had to remain overnight in a room with a compromised lock. Relocating the next morning was not realistic due to the competition schedule that brought us to town. In addition, the room was only cleaned once during our stay and was missing basic amenities such as an iron and blow dryer. Compensation was offered, but the larger concern was safety. A door that does not lock — especially for families traveling with children — is not a minor inconvenience. I hope stronger maintenance verification procedures are implemented so future guests do not experience the same situation.

  Hampton Inn & Suites Atlanta Airport North/I-85 I want to start by saying the staff I interacted with were friendly and professional, and breakfast was perfectly adequate. Those positives are the reason for the three-star rating. That said, I’m sharing this feedback in hopes that management will take a closer look at room condition and housekeeping standards. My room showed multiple maintenance and cleanliness issues that appear to go beyond normal wear and tear. These included peeling paint, rusted fixtures, damaged doors and trim, and visible mold in the shower area. I also noticed hair on the shower ceiling and in the sink area, which suggests the room was not thoroughly cleaned prior to check-in. I’ve attached photos to provide objective context. This is not a complaint about luxury or aesthetics, but about baseline cleanliness and upkeep—particularly in the bathroom, where moisture control and sanitation are critical. I believe this property has potential, especially given the quality of the front-line staff. I hope management will review these issues, address any underlying maintenance or housekeeping gaps, and consider how guest confidence can be improved going forward.
