- RJRebecca JacksonOct 28, 20252.0I stay almost exclusively at Hampton Inn. I posted a review about 6 months back at the nicest Hampton Inn I have stayed at. Well this one is my new low. I had Roaches in my room. I noticed when I was all settled in bed with the lights off. Saw a bug, killed it. Didn’t think much of it until I saw a bunch more. The front desk person was very relaxed about the whole thing, suggesting to me he was not surprised by my complaint. He was nice and did get me another room. The new room seems bug free but it does have the Hampton inn sign right outside the window. This would be totally fine except there are no curtains over the window. This little see through shade is all there is. Ignoring these two things it’s an average Hampton Inn.

I stay here once a month and usually always have a great stay. My only real complaint would be the lack of electrical outlets. The ones built into the nightstand may or may not work, and have been abused by previous tenants. Some rooms they work, others they do not. The TV in my room on this stay has a purple hue all across the screen, so it needs replaced, and the coffee maker is missing entirely, though the filters and coffee are present. The WiFi here is great, though, it will not let you sign in from a FireTV device. If you bring a streamer, you'll have to use your mobile Hotspot since their network login page isn't compatible with FireTV OS. All that said, I still choose this location over LaQuinta or any other place in DeKalb/Tucker, as it is my favorite. The Hilton Honors program is better than most others as well.
