Rooms are not in the best shape: at night I could hear all the noise from outside like I had my window open, the fridge wasn't working and had no freezer, there was no microwave, the shower pressure was not working correctly and the water was so hard to control. They promise 24 hr coffee and tea and during breakfast was gone even after I asked nto refill the coffee machine. Usually all (or most) hotels have a side entrance for my dogs, but this hotel had a controlled by alarm door. My only good highlight is the service from the front desk: they are so kind, helpful and extremely nice.

However, I got food poisoning from the breakfast and emailed the manager following. He never got back to me, but a different employee responded and tried to dismiss my concerns and blame it on a different source. No subsequent follow up from anyone. Will likely be a Marriott person from now on.

I appreciate the fact that they don't charge the same ridiculous valet rates that most downtown Atlanta hotels do. The only minus is that being right on North Ave., the noise from the traffic isn't insulated very much at all, so it can get loud from time to time.
