Embassy is always our go-to for accommodations, and this was our first time visiting this particular location. Check-in was easy, and we arrived during the manager’s reception. We have noticed over time that the reception seems to have been scaled down compared to previous stays, and when we arrived around 5:30 there weren’t many plates available.
The lobby was clean and welcoming, and the receptionist was standard. Our room appeared clean overall, but we did notice a few maintenance issues: a broken handle on one of the shower doors, the shampoo container had fallen off the wall, and the refrigerator was so cold that it froze our items overnight. Thankfully, that wasn’t a major inconvenience since it was only a one-night stay.
At breakfast the next morning, there were also no plates available when we arrived. On a positive note, the older lady from Orlando, Florida working the omelette station was very friendly and provided great service.
Overall, it wasn’t a bad experience. We may stay again, especially for a short stay, but a few updates and improvements could make the visit even better.

Honestly the rooms here are awful !!! Over priced and for what just to get a nasty looking room that smells like cigarettes even though this is a (non-smoking hotel ) I came here with my boyfriend and the service was just awful . I started by talking to a gentlemen at the front desk who seemed like he was a bit snappy when I asked him for more vouchers for the evening reception he replied (you didn’t get them already ) I’m like if I did I wouldn’t be talking to you would i? . Just didn’t like that snappiness attitude and I did check out with my boyfriend requesting the front office manager but the lady told me she was working overnight any ways we need points or something please reach out to us . Thank you

Quin at the front desk was very helpful at check in.
Update 11/18/25
This ended up being the worst hotel stay ever! From the time we checked into our room, it was a bad experience. One of the TVs was not working, which required the handyman to be in our room for over 30 minutes trying to fix it. Later, after a night out, we returned to our room and realized we forgot something from the lobby. We then went down to the lobby, we got back to our room and the key card did not work. We went back down to the lobby to address the issue with the Front Desk clerk. He did not know what to do and only advised that he had been calling management and the engineer to try to figure out a remedy. It was surprising that a hotel of this size did not have any backup plan available for when the key card readers are dead. We ended up being locked out of our room for over an hour and still no resolve. finally offered us another room for the night. until staff arrived in the morning. Long story short we got bounced around between two rooms, which was unacceptable. The rooms were underwhelming, especially the living area. The furniture does not fit the space and there was a small couch which was severely stained. Paint on the wall was discolored and the barn door for the bathroom was missing a handle. During our stay, we ended up meeting another couple who expressed the same complaint. They too had to be moved to another room because of dirty linens on the bed. I will add that once we expressed our issues to the manager she was very apologetic and willing to assist. However, the only good thing about this hotel is the free breakfast.

My stay was lovely starting with one of the most welcoming receptionist that checked me in named Quin down to the complimentary made to order omelets for breakfast! Upon entering my wife and I was greeted as a diamond member and thanked multiple times for my loyalty to the brand. I also was offered my complimentary snacks which these days are like pulling teeth from children! We even had a side conversation after check in about us both being from Birmingham which brightened my day the fact we shared some of the same upcoming. Long story short he made me feel at home and when I travel I expect nothing less than him. By the way he works very efficiently considering the fact he didn’t have any help which was also marvelous! I was also given a complimentary upgrade to an amazing room with a view of midtown which was also great. The room smelled fresh and clean, the only thing missing was a DND sign which after requesting it came in less than 5 min. Again my man Quin was on it! I am beyond pleased and will definitely be back here soon!

My parents and I stayed at the Embassy Suites Midtown by Atlantic Station for three days for the Parent/Family Weekend at Morehouse College and this weekend was one of the best experiences ever! From the moment we checked in, the staff was friendly, welcoming, and made sure we had everything we needed. The rooms were clean, spacious, comfortable, and perfect for relaxing after a long day. One of my favorite parts about staying here was the location. The hotel is right by Atlantic Station, which made it super easy to explore. There are so many restaurants and stores nearby like H&M, Yonutz, and Lucky Strike, along with plenty of other cool spots to hang out, grab food, play, and visit vendors and shops. Everything was within walking distance, which made the trip even more enjoyable. This weekend was especially special because I got to see the YNG Dreamerz for the first time, and staying at Embassy Suites made the whole experience even better. The atmosphere was peaceful, the breakfast was great, and the overall vibe of the hotel was amazing.
I would definitely recommend Embassy Suites Midtown by Atlantic Station to anyone visiting the area whether for an event, family trip, or just a weekend getaway and make sure to check out the Atlantic Station.
