Left a coat in my guest room and called the hotel within an hour of checking out about it (I’m out of state and was at the airport). They couldn’t do anything until housekeeping brought it down and referred me to security. Called several times and left a few messages for an update. Three weeks later FINALLY got an answer that they had my coat. They let me know that they would text or email a link for shipping information which I did not receive. I called several times again and finally spoke with the manager (it’s been over a month at this point). I finally got a link to a third party company for shipping information. The link did not work the first time, then they wanted me to create an account with them. After back and forth they finally sent the correct link asking for $54 or $109 to ship my coat back and are refusing to release my coat without payment. Does this third party company even have my coat? Who knows! The coat is from Old Navy and was only $50 (lol). It’s been almost 3 months of back and forth, zero answers, and I still do not have my coat… I have stayed here for years for the Atlanta Market and will not be renewing my reservation for next year. They have zero empathy for their guests, never know the answer, and will put you on hold for hours just so they don’t have to talk to you.

We stayed five nights for a conference. We were locked out of our room due to an unplanned "update" we had to wait on them to resolve before we could get back in. Security Guards were running around like they were after a criminal and we figured out they were trying to get doors open for guests, but before we understood that it was kind of scary. Coming to our room in between conference events and not being able to get in was problematic.
Third day there I'm back in the room and the alarm goes off and instructs everyone to exit the building. I walk down 6 flights of stairs to be told it's a false alarm. We then have to wait for the building to be inspected before the elevators are running again to return to the room.
The internet is super slow.
The room stayed warm even with the setting on cool at 65 degrees and the temps outside in the 30's.
The second night we were there we were watching a movie and the television turned off and then "Welcome Jimmy" and "Room 601" came on the screen. I told my wife, "I guess Jimmy has our room now". We literally didn't know if they gave our room to someone else so we locked the door and reported it. They just asked if the tv was working, which we said it was. Jimmy in room 601 was on our television the rest of our stay. No big deal, just one of several things that happened that let me know this hotel isn't run well. Staff were very friendly, which is why they get two stars.
The hotel should have offered us some refund or discount on a future stay. All we received after asking was an internet upgrade promo code so we could work. At over $3k for five nights, very disappointing.
I reported it to Hilton afterwards, and this was their response: "Thank you for taking the time to share about your recent stay with us, and we are sorry to hear that your experience was less than satisfactory. We value every guest, and especially our loyal Hilton Honors members. Our goal is to provide reliable and friendly experience service that makes a difference in your stay, and we sincerely appreciate your feedback. We will consider your comments as we continually work to improve. We hope to welcome you back soon."
No, we won't be back to this Hilton and won't plan on using Hilton in our future travels.

I had such a great stay at Embassy Suites in Atlanta. The renovations happening right now are exciting, and the location truly makes this one of the best hotels in Atlanta for both business and leisure travel. Having Ruth’s Chris and Starbucks inside the hotel is so convenient, and of course, the famous Embassy Suites made to order omelets and complimentary happy hour never disappoint.
The walkability is a major plus, Chick fil A is right across the street, and everything you need is close by. As a solo female traveler, I felt completely safe, seen, and welcomed. Lawrence and the entire staff went above and beyond to make me feel at home.
If you’re visiting Atlanta for work, a conference, or a quick getaway and want comfort, convenience, and great service all in one place, this is it. I will absolutely be staying here again.

You have to let them take your car . I left a pair of new Ray Bans on my dash and they were stolen. Very poor. Called in and spoke with a lady who was the manager on duty and she acted like she didn't care. Then I was sent to their security and he said he would tell the manager?? The manager just passed the responsibility, took no ownership of it, so the hotel can make you use the service but when someone takes advantage they pass the buck on.

We took our students to a SkillsUSA competition and stayed at the Embassy Suites by TWCC. There were hundreds of kids everywhere. Most of us checked our luggage on the first day and last day prior to checking in and after checking out. Denzel was a one man show getting bags for multiple people at a time. The bags were in three separate rooms. This young man had teenagers and adults screaming at him at all angles and he handled it with poise and professionalism. He was patient and continued to be courteous.
The reason for four stars for service is because even though Denzel was excellent the front desk morning shift can still use a little more training when it comes to security. And the corporate office made a decision to rekey rooms without communicating with the local management. We were inconveniently locked out of our rooms and had to get new key cards. Overall, I would definitely stay here again, the location alone is worth it. It’s walking distance to so many Atlanta attractions.
