The staff at the DoubleTree at The Battery Atlanta are 100% a reason to come back if needing a place to stay in the area. Everyone is so helpful and a pleasure to speak with. Especially Jarvis — he is incredible!!! He is so helpful, kind, and truly caring. He treats folks that come in like family. He beyond excellent at his job, y'all need to give Jarvis a raise!! Jarvis made me feel appreciated and valuable, and was a pleasure to talk to and be around.
I needed to switch my room since the one I originally got was rather musty and irritating my allergies. Jarvis and the staff were very understanding and so incredibly helpful!! They allowed me to check out another room before switching completely. I am very grateful for their hospitality.
The hotel is a bit on the older side and it reflects that. The bed is comfortable though my room's A/C did not get down past 69 degrees, despite setting it otherwise, which provided a pretty terrible night of sleep for me.

From the moment I walked into the DoubleTree at The Battery, I knew I was in for a fantastic stay. Ms. Sylvia staff is lucky to have her. Seems like they have a lot of fun together at work and still manage to tend to the guest and make them feel at home. The warm cookie at check-in was just the beginning.. every detail that followed was thoughtful, polished, and genuinely welcoming.
The location alone is unbeatable. Being steps away from The Battery’s restaurants, shops, and Truist Park made it effortless to enjoy everything the area has to offer. Whether I was grabbing a bite, catching live music, or wandering around before a Braves game, I never felt rushed or far from where I wanted to be.
My room was spotless, modern, and surprisingly quiet considering the lively surroundings. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the large windows offered a great view of the energy outside while still feeling like a peaceful retreat. Housekeeping kept everything immaculate throughout my stay.
The staff deserves a special shout-out. Every interaction from the front desk to the bar was warm and helpful. They were quick with recommendations, genuinely friendly, and made me feel like a valued guest rather than just another reservation.
I also loved the hotel’s common spaces: the lobby had a relaxed, stylish vibe, and the bar area was perfect for a nightcap after exploring The Battery. Even the little touches, like infused water in the lobby and easy parking options, made the experience feel elevated.
Overall, my stay at the DoubleTree at The Battery was exceptional. If you’re visiting for a game, a weekend getaway, or just want to be in the heart of the action without sacrificing comfort, this hotel is the perfect choice. I can’t wait to come back!

I travel to Atlanta a lot for work and have been for the past 15 years. The Double Tree has always been my go to spot. Basically my home away from home. Location is great. Now with the Battery, it’s even a better location! You can walk to the stadium, bars, restaurants, etc and always feel safe regardless of time of day.
Hotel is always making upgrades. Rooms are huge, bar and food is great and the gym (newly renovated) is awesome!
Now onto the staff and service at this hotel. I’ve NEVER had a bad stay here. Everyone, I mean EVERYONE at this hotel is so friendly and accommodating. Management should be proud. At the front desk, Jarvis and Carla are amazing and will do anything during your stay to make sure you are satisfied.
Bottom line, if you are considering the Double Tree in the Battery, dont hesitate, book it now!

Our 4:30 pm flight back to NJ was cancelled on Sunday, 11/09/25, and rebooked for 7pm the next evening. I immediately booked a room at Doubletree Hilton at the Battery, just happy to find a room. My husband and I were not in the best mood when we arrived and checked in (understatement). We decided to go downstairs for some food and drinks, try to unwind, and after nobody showed up there for a while, we checked with the front desk and found out that the bar was closed as the bartender was out sick. We're beer and wine people, we said, so the front desk person, Craig (a heaven sent angel), went out of his way to get permission from the manager to sell us just that. He also brought out another sweet gentleman, Abu, to help find what we wanted as well as to take our food order... Abu is the cook there, and I asked him at the end of the night if I could give him a hug because he is SO sweet! Before you knew it, other guests were flocking in, but Craig and Abu took care of them too... limited options, bottled beer or wine, but we were all SO grateful to these 2 guys! I commend them both for going above and beyond, not only for customer satisfaction, but for having compassion. Corporate should be VERY proud to employ such stellar men!

We have been back and forth with the accounting coordinator and the food and beverage director of the hotel trying to fix an unknown charge. At first they were very responsive and said they would make it right then time went by and the only response was they were in contact with the person on the reservation directly. I reached out to my friend on the reservation and they stated they only refunded the tip that was unknown and nothing else. It was a 94 dollar receipt that had a 50 dollar tip on it from the hotel bar. The reciept was signed but it was not our signature. We have copies of both reciepts and they are completely different hand writings. And to top it off we were not even at the bar at the time of the second reciept. Beware of your surroundings at this hotel and staff.
