1/5 – Very Poor Customer Service
I would not recommend this hotel at all. The customer service, especially at the front desk, was extremely disappointing. One of the night-shift front desk employees (short hair, glasses) was very rude and unprofessional toward guests.
I extended my stay for an additional night, yet despite this, housekeeping repeatedly knocked on our door in the morning telling us to check out. At least 3–4 different housekeepers came by, each time being rude and disruptive, even though our stay had already been extended. This caused unnecessary stress and showed a clear lack of communication between the front desk and housekeeping staff.
The room itself was not well maintained. The carpet was not clean, and there was no microwave available, which is very inconvenient for guests.
Additionally, I accidentally left my AirPods charger in the room. When I contacted the hotel, I was told it was not found. I am confident it was left there, and this raised serious concerns for me regarding lost items and housekeeping handling guest belongings.
Overall, the lack of professionalism, poor communication, rude behavior, and cleanliness issues made this a very unpleasant stay. I would not stay here again and would advise others to look elsewhere.

Big shout-out to Craig. A ton of people arrived at the same time to check in, and some of the rooms hadn't been cleaned yet. Craig handled the crowd very professionally and quickly, working two computers at the same time to help everyone as quickly as possible. Dude is the Hilton superman. Sylvia was also very friendly the morning of check out and helped me with my questions. Great staff here. AC wasn't quite working 100% in my room, but everything else was great.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the DoubleTree at the Battery. Sylvia greeted us on Christmas day with a big smile and welcomed us as if we were family. She found us the best room in the "house" with a full view of the Battery. She gave us a great recommendation on a place to grab a snack and a drink, and we just enjoyed talking with her during our entire stay. I highly recommend this hotel, mainly because of Sylvia. She runs a first class operation!!!

Very convenient location for any activity at the battery. We stayed there for a concert at the Roxy. Sylvia at the front desk was absolutely the best. She honored our request for an early check in and was such a joy to work with. She provided recommendations for the best room and made sure our party had everything we needed to watch ball games in the lobby before the concert. Sylvia has the best attitude and an infectious smile. The world needs more customer service people like this. She absolutely made our stay so enjoyable and all credit goes to her!!

Traveling to 4.8 ⭐️ I would say this was one of the better DT I've stayed in. There was a misunderstanding about the parking which the Peruvian (didn't get her name) Front Desk attendant took care of. I would say Housekeeping needs to be alittle more attentive with the bed sheets as the blankets used for the sofabed had two yellow stains on them. My kids only told me this after checkout 🤦🏽♂️. The location is quiet and there's an adjacent parking lot which you pay $30/day (no free parking). The bed was pretty comfortable. Upon checkout I didn't know the hotel restaurant would be closed but Sylvia (Front desk Mgr) and Dante (restaurant host) were understanding and squeezed us in. They were exceptional and accommodating. Great experience overall. Would definitely return. Thank you again.
