    I had a smooth and comfortable stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton Atlanta Airport. The location is extremely convenient—just minutes from ATL—with a reliable shuttle that makes getting in and out easy. The lobby was welcoming, complete with the classic warm cookie, and check-in was quick. My room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, though a bit dated in some areas, which didn’t affect the overall quality of the stay. The staff were friendly, professional, and consistently helpful. The gym was clean and useful for a quick workout, and breakfast offered a nice variety. Dinner was delicious and highly recommended the Ribeye steak. The hotel can feel busy at times, and there’s some expected airport noise, but nothing unmanageable.     This was, without exaggeration, the dumpiest DoubleTree/Hilton property I’ve ever stayed in. My room looked like someone had tried to break in—the door lock had a large, noticeable hole in it that made me feel anything but secure. The bathroom wasn’t very clean, and even after requesting a hairdryer, one was never brought to my room. The noise level in the lobby area was another issue. The automatic sliding door screeched so loudly while I was sitting at the lobby bar that I finally asked the staff to put some WD-40 on it. Returning to my room after being out for the day, I found ants crawling on the dresser. The carpet throughout the hotel desperately needs a deep shampoo or, honestly, full replacement. The location isn’t in the best part of town, though it is convenient to the airport. But convenience only goes so far when cleanliness and basic maintenance are overlooked. To top it off, there was mascara smeared on the mirrors in my room—there when I checked in and never cleaned during the entire three-day stay. Overall, I expect much better from a DoubleTree/Hilton property. I would not stay here again.

    The #1 reason I will never stay here again is they started charging $25/night for self-park despite having ample parking in their lot. This is nothing but an excessive money grab. There are many other options within 10 minutes that offer free parking. I was not offered any discount or validation as a Hilton Diamond member, although I asked two different staff members. In addition, the toilet flush mechanics broke during my stay. The front desk staff are also unfriendly.

    Esse foi o pior hotel da rede Hilton que eu já fiquei. Com exceção do pessoal do transfer, todos demais funcionários são mal-humorados e rudes. Desorganizados, me check-in demorou 15 minutos com eles tentando encontrar um quarto enquanto a atendente estava batendo papo ao telefone com alguém. Não informam nada e parecem se incomodar com qualquer pergunta (já que atrapalha a conversa no fone de ouvido). Não atendem ao telefone nem respondem mensagens no app. Hotel imundo, coisas jogadas pelo corredor, carrinho de malas largado dentro do elevador. Quarto estava com carpete sujo, jogo de cama sujo e manutenção precária. Pedi só uma hora adicional para late checout e com muita grosseria fui informado que não fazem isso naquele hotel e que de todos modos estava lotado (mesmo havendo quartos disponiveis se eu busco online). Ah, esquece o famoso cookie da rede: é claro que não tem. Por isso, o pior hotel que já fiquei na rede Hilton. Se estiver lendo a tempo, não reserve! Faça o que eu não fiz e olhe a nota geral de avaliação.

    Sadly Hilton is no longer the gold standard. I typically only leave reviews when I have something good to say, but this time I need to warn people. I stay in hotels all over the county every week. Multiple Hilton products hace fallen short over the past year. Something is going on. They have deep maintanence and cleanliness issue and this Double Tree takes the cake. This hotel is filthy. Carpet in that halls are gross, covered in stains and drip marks all the way down the hall. There was broken tile in the elevators as well as a dead roach in the elevator that was there the entire 4 days I was there. My room was missing the sliding door on the shower. The track was there but no door. A curtain had taken its place that was 2 inches too short. The bathroom floors flooded with every shower. Mildew on all the cracks, caulking that had been done by a sixth grader, and the bathroom room would not close at all as it was hanging crooked. The staff was generally cranky and rude. The pantry store was mostly empty the entire stay. After my arrival on the second fay I was sent a text asking how my stay was so far and asked for a rating. I gave it a "1" and and a few issues I was having and no one replied. I had one more Hilton stay set at a hampton Inn this week. I completed that stay and it was a very tired property. And now I am completly done with the Hilton brands. I dont think the Hilton family own this brand any longer.
