  Clean and well located hotel with a great staff. Uday went out of his way for us after a lacrosse tournament and I won't forget him or Spark!

Technical Safety Report — Elevator Condition Assessment Property: Spark by Hilton Observed by: Elevator Technician (Otis Elevator Company) Date of Observation: [10/19/2025] Location: Passenger Elevator (Main Guest Access) Summary: During a recent visit to the property, I observed potential safety and compliance concerns regarding the condition and inspection status of the building’s primary elevator. Findings: 1. Operational Behavior: The elevator exhibited pronounced mechanical noise and vibration during travel, particularly noticeable in the midshaft region. Audible grinding and oscillating tones indicate possible irregularities with the hoist mechanism or guide rail alignment. There was also noticeable hesitation between floors, suggesting possible leveling or brake control calibration issues. 2. Inspection Status: The posted Elevator Inspection Certificate indicates the last inspection was performed on 06/06/2022, with an expiration date of 10/2023. As of this report, the certificate is approximately one year overdue, meaning the unit is operating without a valid state inspection. 3. Compliance Notice: A paper notice affixed beneath the inspection plate states, “Please be advised that the state has been contacted regarding the delayed elevator inspection.” While this suggests awareness by management, it does not substitute for an active inspection certificate or technical clearance for continued operation under Georgia state code (O.C.G.A. § 8-2-101 et seq.). Safety Assessment: Due to the audible and mechanical irregularities combined with the expired inspection, this elevator should be considered out of compliance and potentially unsafe for passenger service until a certified state inspection and maintenance verification are completed. Continued operation without renewal may constitute a violation of state safety regulations and Hilton brand safety standards. Recommended Action: 1. Immediately remove the elevator from service pending full safety inspection. 2. Schedule a state-certified inspection and obtain a current operating certificate. 3. Conduct a full mechanical and electrical systems check, including brake testing, leveling calibration, and hoistway lubrication assessment. 4. Verify safety switch and emergency recall operation prior to reinstating passenger use. Conclusion: This elevator shows clear signs of overdue maintenance and expired certification. For the safety of guests and staff, immediate corrective action is strongly advised.

  Late night service man practically harassed my husband each time he came down one night after a concert. Husband was microwaving our food and the man started talking to him even thought my husband never said a word—mind you, the employee was assuming husband age (said he’s 31 or older when he’s 24), telling him he will “never grow up”, that he’s probably on drugs, (def not) and being extremely rude when my husband was only standing there. Husband went back down to get a water and stood behind a woman in line to ask how much and the man started insulting him and even the customer he was helping started in which was odd. Third time, he went down to get apple juice and the man AGAIN started talking to him and insulting him in an uncalled for manner. My husband each time was just offering barely any answers to get the man to stop talking—husband was not rude! I NEVER LEAVE REVIEWS but this was unacceptable. You can’t make this up. We were astonished. The property was… fine. Smelled like weed upon arrival and vent smelled like weed when we turned it on. Breakfast was cereal and a few bagels. Not really worth the price.

  My family and I recently stayed at the Sparks Hilton in Alpharetta, GA, and overall, it was a very positive experience. The hotel delivers on the quality you’d expect from the Hilton brand, with a few standout features and just a couple of areas for improvement. The check-in process was smooth and efficient. Staff at the front desk were friendly, professional, and eager to help. The lobby was stylish and clean, with modern decor and a welcoming atmosphere. Our room was spacious, well-appointed, and very clean. The bed was extremely comfortable only thing missing was a microwave. Will definitely book here again

  The bed was very comfortable, everything was very clean, and the location was great. The continental breakfast was simple with just bagels, corn flakes, and oatmeal packets, but everything else was great for the price. I would definitely stay again if I’m ever back in the area!
