I have stayed at this hotel several times for short stays over the past 1.5 years. This time I used this hotel for a two week stay for a work assignment. My first issues is the hotel room booking. I reserve, do an early checking in and pick my room on the Hilton app. I usually reserve the rooms at the end of the hall away from the elevators. Everytime I check in to this hotel on at least 6 different occassions they will give my room away and reassign me to a room next to the elevator. There excuse is that people are extending there stay and the room I picked is not available. I dont believe this ihappened at all. I usually show up at the hotel later in the evening. I believe that the clerks here are not fulfilling people"s room request and giving other guest their assigned rooms. The next issue I have with this hotel is the condition of the hotel. Its not very clean and the hallways and rooms have a funk that you can not get rid of! Let's start at the main entrance/ eating areas. As soon as you walk in that area its smells like dogs. During breakfast no one cleans the tables and the coutertops. The first floor hallway carpet is dirty and stained with coffee and beverages. I was there for two weeks and no one bothered to clean up the stains in the carpet. The exit door glass on the first floor going to the parking lot is covered with dirty fingerprints and need to be cleaned. Then its the guest rooms. My guest room had a horrific odor. For the entire first week it smelled so bad I could barely stay in that room. I had to go to Target and get 2 bottles of extra strength Febreeze to spray on the floor to get rid of the odor. Their hotel rooms are grimey and need a good professional grade cleaning of the carpets and furniture. The carpets are so filthy you can see the dirt. The low traffic areas of the carpet underneath the desk area the carpet is dark Grey. However in the high traffic areas of the room the carpet is dark brownish gray and covered with dirt. The couch is also nasty its a gray couch but has a brown dirty over cast with stains. The room smelled like animals. The problem here is that this hotel is an extended stay that allow animals. You have to be extra clean with animals. The furniture and carpets need to be shampooed and deorderized regularly. This hotel' s cleaning practices or lack thereof is definetly missing the mark! Also I think its important to comment on the overall living environment of this hotel for people who are considering staying here for an extended period of time. This hotel is very noisy and overcrowded at times. You have kids running down the hall, barking dogs everywhere, babies crying, people taking to loud and that includes the housekeeping staff. It's just not a comfortable quiet place to rest and relax after a long day at work or on the weekend. I am still on my work assignment in the area for another couple of months. However, after 2 weeks at this hotel I could not take it anymore and decided to go to a different hotel. I think if you are just traveling through the area, you can tolerate a room that is not very clean and smell bad for one or two nights this place will work for you. Otherwise go some where else.

Didn't have a good experience. I was super excited for my concert. I came all the way from Savannah, GA to go to Atlanta, GA. Unfortunately I arrived just in time for my concert so I went straight. I was confirmed for the 2 nights, so I wasn't worried. I enjoyed my self and went to checkin. I was told that I was a 'no show'. Noone called or checked in with me. I was tired and sleepy. I was charged for a separate night twice the amount that I paid for both nights. They refused me a refund and I had to contact Expedia to get a partial. It was supposed to be a fun weekend of me enjoying my concert and instead, I had no room. The room given to me is now near the front and I have sound sensitivity. Music is being played the entire time. Terrible experience and customer service. Focus on money and not paid customers.

My stay at Home2 Suites by Hilton was nothing short of phenomenal. From the moment I walked in, the experience set a high standard. Debra at check-in was absolutely outstanding. She was warm, inviting, and incredibly knowledgeable. You can tell immediately when someone takes pride in what they do, and Deborah embodies that. She made the process seamless while making me feel genuinely welcomed, not just processed. Her supporting team and the management at this location clearly operate with intention and professionalism. The energy was cohesive, polished, and attentive. As someone who travels frequently, I have seen the full spectrum of hospitality experiences. It is refreshing to encounter a property where excellence is still the expectation and not the exception. In a time when mediocrity too often feels standard, this team delivers elevated service with consistency and care. The entire stay reflected thoughtful leadership, strong training, and authentic hospitality. I highly recommend this location and look forward to returning. Five stars well earned.

I actually like the setup of the rooms. However, it’s winter and the heat does not work without the fan on. In order for you to turn the heat on the thermostat, the fan automatically comes on because there is no off button for the fan on the thermostat. So I just leave it off. You can imagine how cold I am at night. I even started to get a little sick trying to get warm. Also, when I arrived in my room, it had a little funky smell. So I didn’t mind the fan being on for a little while at first to rid the odor. I read reviews, so I know that this hotel kinda lacks on cleanliness, and that’s a little problem according to other reviews. I was just hoping that wouldn’t be the case for me. It wasn’t dirty, but it did have a funk. So far the staff has been nice. But what really makes me give this place two stars is the fact that the floors and the walls are so thin. It is very noisy. I have never stayed in a place like this before, where the noise level is so great. I wish you guys could hear how horrible it sounds. Mind you, there are a lot of room to each floor in this hotel, which means a lot of people. So there is constant noise. And it’s loud bumping and banging into the walls at times. So much it startles me. Not to mention the people above me. It sounds like they had several kids and a few dogs, because it was constant hard running back and forth. Oh! Speaking of dogs. . . A lot of people are staying here long term, so they bring their dogs (That’s fine). And it is a lot of dogs! One in which there was a big dog either above or across from me that kept barking all morning! Safe to say I won’t be back after this stay. It was okay for the time being. But Due to the excessive noise and thermostat, I feel like I’m in a motel. I’m going back to the Hilton Garden Inn. . . Oh yeah, I like that the breakfast is free.

I checked in at Home2Suites by Hilton Alpharetta to stay for 4 days. When i returned from work in the evening, the room door was already open. Someone had entered my room used the bathroom and left the towel unclean. Searched my luggages. Reshuffled the luggages, made the floor dirty with liquids, kept the center table on a sofa, watched tv and kept the remote in different place. These are the things I noticed after I came to the room. I immediately went down and reported front desk. The agent was very kind and immedately came and checked the room. She escalated the situation to the manager. Manager had left for the day so I waited for 45 minutes near the front desk for the manager to arrive. She came and tried to look at the security videos. She said she did not have access to the videos and have to wait till the next day. I requested her to visit the room to inspect the situaion. She denied. i requested for another room. She said there is no room available and asked me to checkout. I asked her if she can call the main office and get a room from another hilton hotel. She said I need to call the main office and book the room. I called Hilton customer service. Customer service Rep found an another hotel for me and also gave a case number for this security breach issue. Rep said I will be contacted by Hilton in 2 to 48 hours. This process took me nearly an hour over the phone. After booking the room, I went to the room, gathered my things and came to the front desk to check out. Agent informed me that the Manager had checked me out long time ago. While my things are still in the room, the Manager had checked me out and made me go to the room that was checked out. Absolute zero empathy for the situation from the manager. Someone entering the room is a security breach. Security breach was not handled well in this hotel by the manager. Neither they understand seriousness of security breach. No updates from Hilton customer service either. It is more than 100 hours today, Hilton has not contacted me yet on this situation. In addition, Hilton typically send receipts in email or provide hard copy when we checkout. They billed my credit card but did not provide receipt. I am following up on receipts. Overall, not a good experience at this hotel. I am sharing the experience here for awareness.
