  I had a very disappointing experience during breakfast at the Embassy Suites in Alpharetta, GA. (North Point Parkway) About 15 minutes before breakfast ended, my child accidentally spilled waffle mix on the counter, creating a mess that understandably needed to be cleaned. However, the response from one male employee at the waffle/cereal bar was completely inappropriate. The employee became visibly upset, shut the waffle station down early, and while cleaning the area, called my child “stupid” in Spanish—apparently assuming she would not understand. Unfortunately for him, my child is bilingual and clearly understood what was said. He also spoke rudely to other guests while announcing the waffle bar was closed. Thankfully, a female employee stepped in, defended my child, and reminded him that it was an accident and that she is only a child. I appreciate her professionalism, but the incident itself was unacceptable and left a lasting negative impression. Because of this experience, I would not recommend this location and will be advising friends and family to stay elsewhere where guests—especially children—are treated with kindness.

  I stayed a couple of nights over New Years Eve/Day. Unfortunately it was not the relaxing stay I hoped for. I always stay at hotels that offer an evening reception. I would definitely not call what they had, an evening reception. Chips and jarred salsa. Every reception at other hotels have had basically a full dinner. Pasta, burgers and so on. Just chips and jarred salsa one night and pretzels and cubed cheese another. Definitely not what’s portrayed in photos online. When I went to order a martini, the bartenders’ response was “that’s NOT how this works”. I didn’t realize included drinks were very limited… but she was rude about it. It was also very loud. With the rooms overlooking the open area, you could hear everything. Room was very dated with lots of stains and tears. BUT! …The bed was super comfortable as were the pillows. The curtains block out most light. And everyone (mostly) that works there were friendly.

  My family and I stayed one night here. We slept on the 2nd floor and there were roaches living in the bathroom. My husband wanted to switch rooms, but it wasn’t going to be any better because the hotel is infested with roaches. To those of you not use to living in a roach environment this is your warning. Wish I was warned.

  My server Tina at the small bar in the Hotel makes the Bar look much bigger, great personality, great service, she never let my glass run dry. She is fun to talk to and made my evenings fun after a hard day of work. Thank you Tina for taking care of me. BTW the wings are fire!!!!!!!

  Hotel was very clean & the staff very accomodating & friendly. Rooms are a bit dated. Carpet had a musty odor. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was basically good, but, not quite up to par of other Embassy Suites. Other than being able to scoop out your own eggs or pancakes bacon & sausage was served & portion controlled by the buffet attendant giving small servings. I had to ask for a little more than 2 small strips of bacon & a sausage patty or link. Not typical of my breakfast experience at other Embassy Suite properties where they don't seem to be concerned that you will take too much breakfast meat. Other than that, my stay was an overall good experience.
