When I first arrived on Sunday, I discovered that the refrigerator still contained food from the previous guest — a clear sign that the room had not been properly cleaned or inspected. Over the course of several days, I also returned to my room multiple times to find that housekeeping had not fully closed my door, leaving my personal belongings unsecured. This raised serious concerns about safety and attention to detail. However, the most alarming issue is the condition of the pool area. Since the day I arrived, there has been a dead rat sitting in plain sight near the pool. Today is Wednesday going into Thursday, and the situation has still not been addressed. It’s unacceptable for any hotel—let alone one under the Holiday Inn Express brand—to allow such a health and cleanliness issue to persist for this long. I expected much higher standards of cleanliness, professionalism, and guest care. Unfortunately, this experience has made me lose confidence in this location, and I cannot in good conscience recommend it to other travelers. I truly hope management takes immediate action to address these issues for future guests.
